@CHARLES PELKEY he left in November or December of β17 I think β
@crashhacker I WAS a simpleton cog in the bureaucrat wheel. π‘ It took me a few years to figure it out. I'm in recovery π
@Dixie That would have been right around the time I got involved I think so I don't remember that
by that logic, you're in a web of a lot of bureaucracies most of the time
We all are @crashhacker lets remove the waste, fraud and abuse.π
@Groot Tahts a worldwide problem and needs a BIG BROOM for housecleaning
hey @CHARLES PELKEY were gonna ease into some triple digit weather here this week.
@Groot Your going to need lots of sunblock and Red Lable to keephydrated
I just might have to go out and stock up. Tks for the reminder @CHARLES PELKEY π
Its in the 80's here and humid so im staying inside We REALLY need a rain desperately here
Do you have a crop to harveest yet? @CHARLES PELKEY
The field corn just came out in tassel and we sprayed it for Vomotoxin and the beans are flowering All in critical stage for yield potential @Groot
harvesting dent and flint here now, NC
moisture and hot will make the flourish now...praying for some rain for you. @CHARLES PELKEY
The sweet corn is ready but full of ear worms which is odd and also full of Vermin I had to officiate at a funeral for one of them this morning @Groot Thanks we need all the help we can get
No problem @CHARLES PELKEY , you don't grow I don't eat.π symbiotic relationship?
Like always were complaininf about too much of lack of rain, but the cracks in the ground are about 2 inches wide and deep @Groot
pears are coming in here.......turned the zuccs under, critters got to the flowers earlier than normal.
Groot, my zukes went weird this year too, one day flourishing , next day withered away, roto tilled and started fall food
@TuscaroraWarrior We lost out entire peach tree production to squirrels this year. 1st time....I tasted one really early just for grins..none since.π‘ Watching for figs next, birds love them, and counting the winter oranges.
Yes for some reason wee really bothered by pests this year for some reason and if it werent for city folks we'ed have no markets for our productsand parts for the equipment
We're pampering some avocado's from seed....1-2 feet now ..another 2 years or more for fruit.
Chine has really done a number on farmers this year with their tarriffs I agree with POTUS that China has to be dealt with but the agricultural sector has taken the brunt of the pain @Groot
Dang , we had a time with the squirrels and raccoons with our flour corn, had to post up on them with a shotgun all day , nabbed 15 the firstday , wittled them down pretty good, like 100 in week and a half. I didn't get any peaches off the trees this year, they started , but black ants or something withered them about half way through, still have stones on the trees, with leathered skin.
@CHARLES PELKEY my wife had a stroke in October of 17 and came home in November so thatβs when we started watching βοΈ
@TuscaroraWarrior You must spend a lot of time and money on pest managrment then How much for a box of Shotgun shells were your at?
@CHARLES PELKEY she is doing great thank you π
6 bucks @CHARLES PELKEY
@CHARLES PELKEY I've been listening to POTUS and he seems to be saying he's going to use the tariffs to help the farmers shortfall.......but as you know that process is so hit an miss for the farmer. It's like your job becomes π‘ growing grant applications and support to earn a buck..sick!
@CHARLES PELKEY Yes working for the man. Just got back
Sorry to hear about your wife's stroke
Good to hear @TuscaroraWarrior Strokes are a horrible thing all the way around Especially if a person has to start learning how to function all over again
@TuscaroraWarrior charge the city folk for ammo and target practice ..they won't know they're helping you AND they need the practice.π
What was for lunch @Gailm
Mom had to learn to talk and walk again. Slow process.
@Charles Barrett Leftovers from lunch yesterday and Sweet Kale salad with Poppy Seed dressing. Yum
