But I genuinely think it was a good way to end the series
A lot of people misinterpret it as preachy or some shit but I seriously don't think that's the case

I understand why people might think it's retarded

But I've seen some people complain about it because apparently it's "an insult to the series" which is dumb

There's a lot to be said about the ending when you think about it more, I think the whole point was you were meant to stop and think about what could have been real and what was fake

I think the pregame tapes were 100% faked because of the prologue

It's not much different to the other supposed "twists" the games have
The first game had Junko say that the outside world is ruined and no one was there for them

But they didn't know if it was a lie and it was Junko trying to spread despair and keep them locked away

It kinda was, because you first play the game and everything is fine and the first thing you remember is voluntarily joining the school and researching about the class members there

The twist is that 3 years have passed since then or some shit and the world has fallen into destruction

At least I remember it being similar to that

The twists with Danganronpa V3 could just be Tsusmugi lying to you, but we don't fully know the answer, and it's sorta left for you to decide
The whole twists of "Shuichi and the others were actually shitty normies who wanted this killing game" "Danganronpa 1 and 2 was done by actors" is left to interpretation

I don't see how it's poor writing to leave it up to interpretation but that's just me

You probably have already but maybe you should think about what you think happened at the end because it is genuinely kinda interesting figuring out what happened

There are more theories that are more legitimate than others

My interpretation is that DR1, 2, UDG and 3 are real media series done (much like in real life) and it became so big, that by the 53rd series, (((Team Danganronpa))) became a corrupt company that does live action shows using futuristic technology and abducting random people to participate in the show

The only person who doesn't talk in the prologue is Rantaro

who probably knew the entire time not to say anything that it was gonna be a killing game

There's only so much you can do with Hope vs Despair before it gets annoying

Truth vs Lies is a very interesting theme

And that's what makes Kokichi such a great character

He's a Chaotic Good character, and his lies help save everyone in the end

There's actually a theory that in chapter 3, Kokichi took the key card from Monokuma and discovered the room that makes all the flashback lights and discovered that they were fake.

That's why Kokichi never gives a shit when everyone is done watching the flashback lights

He's the ONLY one who doesn't say anything and doesn't care

I think he knew all along

That they were inside of a TV show and there were people watching

But obviously didn't want to tell anyone because... Why would he?

There's also another theory that he manipulated all the flashback lights and changed them to "The Most Terrible and Tragic Event in Human History" so that he could make his classmates fall into despair so they could stop fighting entirely and the audience would get bored

To back that up, Tsumugi said "the flashback lights got changed midway and we went off script for some reason, but I figured it out and we decided to change it last minute"

There some characters that are missed potential

Kaito felt forced, so I know why people would dislike him

Gonta doesn't appeal to a lot of people either

I'd say my favorite V3 dangans were Shuichi, Kokichi, Ryoma, Korekiyo and ||Maki and Himiko, though only in the last 2 chapters||

DR2 dangans I didn't really care for much
Hajime was cool, Fuyuhiko carried it and I liked Gundham

Yeah I like Kaito a lot
There are a lot of flaws I'd say half the cast have but I didn't really mind them personally, but I'd see why some people don't like a decent amount of the cast

I actually really liked everyone honestly

Tenko and Maki could definitely have been written better

Tenko was annoying until you did her free time events

Miu was funny as fuck

Kiibo was a true bro at the end

DR2 cast was kinda.. meh for me
I didn't really care for most the survivors besides ||Hajime and Fuyuhiko like I said||

The V3 survivors make the most sense since you see they're completely different characters from the start of the game and they had people important to them that they lost and took for granted
