hey I tried to sign up for steemit. it has been a few days. I got a text with a code, but no email or place to enter the code to move forward with a password. does anybody have an insight into what I should be looking for? I used a gmail acct. do they block steemit email?

I got a text with a code but no email to confirm. my concern is that gmail will block the registration email from steemit. there is an information war about to touch off. I don't trust google any longer

I have heard that I should give it a week. the fast response to text but no next step is what threw me

When was the last Q posting? Has there been a long dark spell in the past couple months?

I have been following passively for the past few months. I dont recall a pause this long. I didnt suggest anything? My question was based on past posting history. Is this longer pause normal.
