I was pointed this way by a friend.

And I have a problem with WT that I have no Fucking idea how to fix.

And it's driving me up the wall.

This is $4,256.90 USD of virtual starships.

@๐Ÿ”ฅๅคฉ[Crimson๐ŸฏShogun]ไพ๐Ÿ”ฅ I don't know if it was just you being cute, but convincing him to not invest in the project is totally fine by the way. I prefer people to invest in Star Citizen only if they really know they want to and not just because they let the enthusiasm of others influence them into it.

My hype for the game always reaches a bit of a high when I'm talking about it with people.

Hence the reason I'm okay with people convincing people not to invest in it.

I have more of a problem with people outright lying about it and spreading misinformation than just being like "hey, it ain't done yet, so give it some time".

@Justin Burger (Major-GA) Problem not fixed, still skipping.

No clue what's causing it still.

Unplayable in the sense that the issue is like a mosquito buzzing in your ear.

Incredibly irritating and causing me to miss shots that I shouldn't miss.

Having done the supposedly-magical fix of deleting the Config file, I'm at a loss on what else to do.

I was having this issue immediately after reformatting my computer too./

In other news, I was going to be playing some WoWs for a bit.

So I would happily play this with a group too.

The game has a definite feeling of progression that I think Rust lacks personally.

Especially if you manage to salvage an Arges, that shuttle is easily one of the hardest ships to get your hands on.

And raiding is still a thing, but damned hard thanks to how deadly effective autoturrets are.

I don't much care for LSG, but what he does in this video is vaguely analogous to what I want to do in SE.

I just want to do it with a little more emphasis on asymmetrical gameplay and making every choice count.

Not just big battles.

Also, Hellion is amazing.

Seriously, don't pay any attention to those negative reviews, it's a damned good game.

Little buggy, but that's Alpha for you.

And the new exposure update is *noice*.

I would go so far as to call Hellion Rust in space basically.

I still say you should give Hellion a go.

It's come a *long* way, and while there are a few bugs, it's good fun.

And the devs really do care about the game.

And Space Engineers is just great if you can get some people on, consistently, for a competitive survival game.

That's the nice thing about Hellion, you can't wall yourself in.

I bought a space tow truck.

Does that validate my poor monetary choices?

Hillary's still a crook.

@Justin Burger (Major-GA) When do you think you might be wanting to give Hellion or SE a go?

Sureskies.

I'd suggest Hellion first if you're willing to put up with a few bugs.

It is in Alpha after all.

I feel like Hellion is the more "Rust in Space" experience.

But SE is *by far* more developed.

Problem is, you'd want to do it competitive survival style.

Which means peeps would have to stop lurking.

Space Engineers.

But it's better with friends.

And I had an idea to do a competitive survival thing.

Minimum of 3 players per team.

With Hellion you can get by with less people.

Fuck that.

If you're going to suggest that, how about Starbound while we're at it?

Hey, Burger, you want a game for free?

K, you need to add me on Steam then.

Or how long until you'd be able to get Hellion do you think

Nevermind.

But yeah, how long until you'd be able to pay the 24 for Hellion?

Because Starbound's better.

Hellion is one of those games that's super slow-paced, but also very rewarding.

Raiding a fully-equipped base with autoturrets and stuff is brutal.

The servers are usually populated.

Be sure you refund if it isn't to your taste.

There is a sorta tutorial.

But other than that, the game tosses you in the deep end and says swim.

I could get on in a bit to help if you want.

But I'm still in the middle of doing Carrier things in this WoWs tournament.

I've got about another hour of competitive left.

Then I can get on.

Now, mind, one bug I've run into is where you'll hammer the buttons too much in the inventory and accidentally stick a canister on the cargo slot of the lifeboat module, at which point it bugs *hard*.

But that's the only one.

I'm sure it'll get fixed though, the devs are pretty on point with that.

@Justin Burger (Major-GA) If you want, I can do a bit of Hellion now.

I would join, but I've got work coming up fairly soon.

@Justin Burger (Major-GA) If you have any questions about Hellion, just poke me or I can get on tomorrow and talk it over.

The quarterfinals are tomorrow though, so I'll be busy with that.

About the only thing I can think would confuse you is warping.

@Justin Burger (Major-GA) You going to be on fairly early tomorrow? I'll have time for a quick intro to Hellion before the WoWs quarterfinals.

12 Noon your time.

For about an hour.

I'm hoping we can get some proper survival fun times going on that game.

It's really rewarding to go out and get a great haul from one of the military outposts, especially since they have autoturrets that make the ones in Rust look bad by comparison.

I noticed you got on Hellion for a short bit, how'd you like it?
