Hello friends, I've recently acquired a firearm license and I would like to get into recreational shooting. I am open to recommendations on my first ever firearm and I would appreciate your inputs.

I am canadian

I understand that Canada have more strict policies on civilians owning firearms and I would like to know if there are other Canadians that could share their experiences with owning, obtaining, and maintaining their firearms
