As well as the fact, that if you’re in a plane/boat, you’d have to travel all the way across the disk? To get to the other side, opposed to going in the opposite direction. If that makes any sense

On my other point, I meant that if, say you’re in America, and Australia is on the other side, you’d have to go past Europe and Africa to get there. Rather then going the other way
