If there's one thing I never understood about Flat Earth as a theory, it is why no one has managed to tell us how far away the small, local sun is. Can anyone explain?

Ok... so why has no one ever said how far away it is... by directly measuring it?

If the earth is flat, I'd use trigonometry probably
