@agogeghost A redpilled Christian is someone who is a traditionalist, in my opinion. At least being concerned with not wasting time trying to appeal to modern sensibilities regarding genders. Obviously more than that, but being honest and upright would be a start.

@agogeghost It's not entirely personal. I believe religion or some form of it is necessary for society to remain structured. The lack of religion, I find it, currently, is resulting in a dissipating moral rigor, allowing loose ideas to corrupt many institutions that wouldn't otherwise. Modernity is itself a corroding agent, actually. But that's a complicated topic, that I haven't fully comprehended. Just a thought.

@agogeghost Decadence to me implies many things, but here would be self-indulgence. There is responsibility in a family that contains a man. Without it, the probability of becoming decadent is there, which starts with self-indulgence - porn being a major factor.

@agogeghost Yeah, I guess my goal is to control these men, which is why I'm not a Libertarian anymore. Probably more of a Paleo-conservative. I believe individualism can only be sustained under a strong collective. MGTOW to me is a subversive element against the collective of men. Obviously, they have valid reasons, but solutions that aren't really solutions.

@agogeghost I also want to say that there will obviously be exceptions. To control all men or all people is never the answer, but most and most will follow something anyways.

@atomic I think women are more important than that. I would have to default to a sort of Christian or religious argument, that the communion of men and women realizes a true individual nature. A bond that's mean't to be fulfilling, though imperfect.

@agogeghost Yes, that's a concerning thing about women, but many problems, I believe, exist now because of how we live in modernity. It's why I'm sort of blackpilled in hoping for a collapse. But yeah, not discounting what MGTOW says, just don't agree with solution(s).

@agogeghost I don't think we've evolved beyond our 10,000 year old self. And I'm not saying what modernity offers is entirely bad, but it brings a host of new problems that we're not biologically equipped to handle, and this will be even more true as the years ago by.

Is it sad that the pinnacle of human wholesomeness and harmony with their higher sense of self was in the 50s? Artificial wombs I find to be just one of many of the things symptomatic with our want for transhumanist reality. We're eventually creating a matrix, where we're tools for a technological enterprise and not the other way around. This is a big picture view and doesn't necessarily say that artificial wombs are bad, but it's attendant to what I believe is a progression towards decadence.

Why escape?

Probably not a closed system like the matrix, but we'd be so enmeshed with technology, that we could easily put ourselves in a virtual world and be subjects to that world. For example, big tech companies care a lot about advertising; the whole purpose of stuff like Alexa and being on facebook, and other products that rely on data, is to provide material to be repacked for inference machines. Your use of products eventually gets thrown into a system that hopes to determine a new interest for you. Keeping you inside of this never ending cycle of supply and determined demand. You essentially become a slave to technological overlords.
