we'll have better with vr
fox tails and everythig
just wait for vr man
it's gonna change everything
๐ฆ
women can't reason from first principles
so they're just lost in this maze and don't think logically
as soon as you view women as another creature you be at peace
they are not on the same psychological level as men
so why would you try and reason with them?
what r the top anime on netflix
started blue exorcist but got bored
yo has anyone had experience using coursera?
ariana grande is such a fucking brat
why can no one e;lse see that in her
np but the same principle applies
ye exactly
anyone else feel super productive in evenings but not as active during daytime
thinking of a way to fix this
as sson as it goes 9 i'm a diff person
whens the best time to move out of ur parents
i have 500 quid to my name
going back into school next year and am planning to commute from parent's
yeah exactly - i'll be out at uni from 7am - 7pm mon-fri anyway
by the time i graduate i'll be 24 so i'll want to move out asap just for that privacy
and ty, i'll check out the channel
yeah thanks man, i'm teaching myself web dev rn so i can work part time while at uni
if i can save 10+grand through that and internships within 4.5 years that'll be sick
tbh, i could probably save 20k + : my only expenses will be travel so ยฃ100 a week
thanks mate
hello my brothers
how much are dolls gonna cost
good evening everyone
yep
nothing is coming up
asked my sister why she actually wanted a baby - she got as far as "i dont know it's just something you do when you want to show that you love your partner" - then i asked her "you don't need a baby to show someone that you love them, is there any other reason you want a baby?"
i then got roasted
apparently i'm really hard to have a conversation with and argumentative
yep
sister, aunt and mum all had a go at me
yep
i gotso angry, idk why im asking these questions knowing that they're going to get angry
but it's interesting to see how they reason
like haven't they ever reasoned from first principle like thinking?
i asked my mum why it's bad to be obsessed about your job and she just said you need a good work life balance
but then if you're going to be working for 30+ years
why would you not do smth ur passionate about
otherwise you're literally working at something you don't like for 8+ hours a day just to 'live' the remaining 8
the problem is that because im the youngest in my family i have no ground to stand on and my word means nothing
i know it's shallow thinking but just speaking to ppl like this makes me ambitious and want to work at google/facebook just so when i argue i have weight behind it
whereas whenever i'm grounded and dont speak to females/ blue pillers for a couple weeks i don't mind want to do as long as i can pay my way and work to build my trade
sorry for the rant - needed to offload
@shadowlessnexus lol thanks man
lol ue
ye
whats blackpill?
got ya
what made u wnana become a rocksta
what do u guys do to keep motivated?
anime is what i do along with music
i couple anime and music with pomodoros of work
@MufflePuff do u spend a lot of your time alone? would make sense as it's easy to keep in a 'flow' state level of focus if ur not interupted
@shadowlessnexus i feel like that too - but is that a 'good' source of motivtion?
@MufflePuff makes sense - i'm looking forward to when i can move out - i feel like when you're alone and driven you can snowball and make huge progress
@MufflePuff when did you move out?
16 wow
@shadowlessnexus how do you contain your anger so that it's used as a fuel for your motivation?
gym? or do you limit who you interact with
@shadowlessnexus that's great man good job
true true
@MufflePuff my family say that obsession is always bad - i don't agree with them however most people see obsession to something, even something that is a great habit, as bad - what are your thoughts on obsessive behaviour? i think that you NEED to be obsessed in a field to ensure you succeed
never heard of that term before
controlled obsession = passion . yeah and true
my mum is only driven by money
has no idea why she got into tax
30 years in a career
and still doesn't know why she started it
yeah - but i don't understand how you can go through a career and never ask yourself the question 'why am i doing all of this?"
'i work to support you'
emotionally black-mailing a 10 year old
'i do this because i love you'
fucking hell
it's not her fault
but she needs to understand that she's not persuading me with logic but with emotional blackamil
@Commanda Knuckel nice one
@MufflePuff yeah exactly - it's a sad cycle
when did you guys self-actualise?
if you wouldnt mind sharing, what potential was it you actualised?
*
have you been gradually actualising
when you self-actualise, doesn't it mean that you can now understand and see your potential - so you have a direction to go in
yeah, ngl i think self-actualisation's definition for me is: knowing yourself and being completely honest about everything
wow
that's beautiful
i guess you can only truly self-actualise having spent time alone - allowing you to self-reflect
like 3+ months
@Commanda Knuckel tru - for me it waas staying at my uni house for 3 months alone
i have an identical twin so we are always asking each other 'why' whenever one of us had a natural instinct to do something - pretty handy because you realise jsut how fucked up social conditioning is
cos we're identical it's a completely level playing ground and there's no self biases when arguing
