American politics is much sexier than British politics.

Our politicians have managed to quite efficiently make talking about UK politics the most mundane and miserable thing possible, so it's much harder to get motivated.

100 per day is plenty enough for a movement.

600 people doesn't sound like much, but the UK is a small place.

There's only a few hundred seats in parliament.

Statistically speaking that's a few people split across each seat. If they actively work on the ground to recruit more people then we're in with a shout.

If you push a negative hard and far enough it will come back around as a positive.

The people who care about Sargon's language aren't our target demographic.

Our target demographic will hear that Sargon doesn't bow to people's complaints over petty things and they will respect him more for it.

The EU has probably swung a LOT of votes towards leave by proving UKIP right with Articles 11 and 13.

And we kinda need something more local if we're going to coordinate.

Seriously, it is going to be fucking scary when people start incorporating cuteness into their ability to sell things, leading to a purchasing necessity to be emotionally distanced in order to defend against being made to feel bad about not spending money, which will only further stunt the social skills of western society and lead to a generation of people who grow up desensitised to social cues of misery and practiced in avoiding emotional connections.

I know I'm making a big deal out of this but this is some scary shit when you really think about what this could lead to.

Salesmen aren't designed to be cute. There is a reason that bars favour barmaids and why waitresses are favoured over waiters, and we're already seeing the damage to society of rage-bait on the internet leading to a culture of the eternally offended. Emotional manipulation for economic gain has always been a thing but technology has the power to super-charge the issue, and just as how rage-bait on the internet has had serious and unforeseen consequences in the real world we need to be wary of how bad problems can get when people out for a quick buck are allowed to get away with playing upon the emotions of their consumers.
