@Deleted User don't get tetchy on me
Doesn't sound much different to now, just with different titles.
So, a CEO is president, the Senate, board of directors?
I assume taxes would be replaced with some form of profit
If all citizens are shareholders, then all businesses would be subsidiaries to the nation
Giving the government control over the economy and dictating the means of production
Well you've been explaining the political side, what about the exonomical side?
So when you buy something, you are trading your shares?
But the richer you get the more shares you have, and that can snowball until you are at the top 1%
I see, so at it's foundation it's a meritocracy, with a corpocracy built on top
Problem there is meritocraciea can result in entrenchment, so how is it regulated to prevent that?
It's when those with merit stop selecting meritable people in favour of their own families
You can easily have an aristocracy of half a million people. That's out of 300 million.
I'm not familiar with that term. I'm saying that these trustees presumably select their members, so why would they not choose friends and family first?
So the 500k trustees selects the 20 directors, and the directors select the trustees?
:/ I'm not seeing this, it's very confusing. But what I can see is that it isn't representative of the population, and that leads to corruption.
The trustees ARE the aristocracy, they are the nobility, and eventually they will become entrentched
You're thinking starship troopers, service guarantees citizenship
In that case, there a risk of a shadow council forming.
It means a council working behind the scenes making the decisions while the government is a front
Whoever is selected by the trustees are suseptable to corruption
The selection of the trustees needs to be transparent
Ok, so select occupations grant you the chance to be a trustee
That's just like starship troopers, it's not a bad sounding system. Where I'm puzzled is how that's compatible with a corpocracy
Why not have that system, but retain the current form of government?
But without a civil service, how does the government function? Who implements policy?
Lol, you've just relabeled the cival service as company employees
I recall a debate Sargon had with someone proposing something very similar to this
hmm, would have thought it was the other way around
oh, it was the drone strikes getting leaked that got him in trouble, and that was under obama, so, ye i can picture that
ok wait, so its illegal to look at the emails, but its ok for CNN to tell you about them?
well you can be left liberalm or right liberal (libertarian)
libertarian used to be liberalism, until the SJWs took over some time ago and the conservative liberals needed a new name
@garestan just take the political compass test and then pick a diagram that best fits your preference https://whsjohnnygreen.org/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/Compass2.png
im between right-libertairan and activism (whatever that is)
plus, for a corpocracy, you need more than one corporation in control
so ye, 1 step shy of communists, but right wing enough for people to own property
national socialism = socialism (providing care) for the national population (germans)
