Any leather wallets worth the money? Or are they all junk?
Did I fuck up buying kz zs5's on 11 for $18, versus the zs6's today for $20?
I'm more concerned with the fact that I could have gotten a newer product for a slightly higher price, than the fact that I overpayed.
Is it worth returning them? Or should I just accept my fate
At least I know I'm a loser now. Thanks guys. Guess I can stop anxiously waiting on the mail now
See I wouldn't exactly mind the $5s, if I knew I was getting a superior product. But I'm not, that's what bothers me
I got my v2s a few days ago. It's hard to see exactly, but you can just make out the two drivers in the nozzle under direct lighting
I also have Tin T2s coming in the mail. Wondering if you guys know of any material besides blu-tack that would work well for sealing the bass holes. I don't have any on hand, and would rather not by some just for the headphones.
Would superglue be a bad idea? I definitely have some of that on hand. Could also be the type of tape makes a difference <:thonk:288060975775612929>
I know, and I swear I had some on a poster somewhere. Gone now though
After further research, I can say with certainty that I'm dumb. It's like a few bucks in a physical store, Idk why I thought it had to be from Amazon
What a coincidence, I modded my T2's yesterday too. Debating between making the putty small enough to only just fill the hole, or keeping it easy to remove but ruining the looks
I mean, I need a volume of the stuff so small that it's hard to handle. Plus, I kinda like swapping back and forth to see how songs change right now
But I feel you guys. Definitely not regretting the purchase or the mod
I honestly remember thinking, "there's no way this makes that much of a change." Boy was I wrong. Wish I could hear that for the first time again
In addition, they are very comfortable to wear and the included foam tips are a nice perk.
Gamesir have good support, but I've had two controllers in a row with dpad problems. If you want to play retro games, be aware that their dpad QA isn't great
@kontroll Could you share your technique for your most successful iteration? I'd really appreciate it
I'd rather try adding tape than cutting up the Dpad up permanently.
And you covered roughly 1/2 of the left-right and 1/4 of the up-down areas?
80% is probably good enough for me, as I noticed improvement after even my first attempt with 1 layer of tape.
Thanks for the help! I can't think of any material that might solve the issue completely, but best of luck to you
So the mmcx cable that came with my T2s is coming apart. Anybody have recommendations on a cheap, but decent replacement?
I don't really need anything special. Just something that won't fray as fast as what came in the box
I don't know about you. But my foams loosen up after a few months and don't stay in as well. Nothing to do with hygiene.
Guess I will notice that sooner or later then. But I prefer to switch tips before they get that bad.
Looks like I'll have to go back to the ZS5s if the old cable totally comes apart. <:hms:311152554618912768>
You're kidding me. Like, squish down an old one and a new one at the same time.
Exactly. The new ones squish more and stay squished longer.
Older ones squish and reform really fast and are less firm. Like sleeping on a super old foam mattress
Ah. That's why it doesn't bother you then. I have to roll em around, otherwise they don't fit well and fall out
My left ear is super fucking weird though. Because I can get away with shoving them in my right
Good to know I'm not the only one with that problem
So the cheap-shit $2 mmcx replacement cable for my T2's now needs to be replaced after like *3 months*. I'd rather not get chinked again, what's the next step up that won't fray so fast?
Both excellent points. Done that before on lots of non-replaceable cables. But assuming I don't want to buy the same shitty cable again, what should I buy?
I probably will just get a thicker cable. Cause I do wear them overear, the fray is on the part of the cable directly above the split (the big piece of plastic idk what to call it).
Thanks. Yeah, right above that on the left side. Never had that problem on other headphones, though that's probably cause they usually broke near the jack itself
I just don't want to spend more money on a "better" cable, and get chinked x2
Ahh, those do look tough. Already ordered a cable from Ali for a similar price. Hopefully it's not junk. Thanks the advice though, that'll teach me to be impatient
So, I fell for the Sony MH755 meme. Is there a chink extension cable I should buy to make them more usable? Not able to mod them; No iron.
Yeah, why ruin the good sound I'm getting cheap by cheaping out even harder I guess. Thanks
