You can see the reflex sight mounted on the rifle on the left. It's this: https://www.amazon.com/Feyachi-Reflex-Sight-Adjustable-Reticle/dp/B01HPWATOC/
Except I got from some other seller for slightly cheaper idk
I have $10 and it's almost 4AM what do I buy that I will regret tomorrow morning
Been there done that
Did not like
That would be good for ironic purposes yeah
Boompro is unironically low quality enough that the only advantage it has over chink versions is durability.
But I'm a brandfag for V-Moda so I bought boompro anyway
But yeah honestly just get a few cheap chink ones because they won't last long no matter what
My issue with that style is that I can't imagine they're comfortable
Like idk how that shit is gonna both seal and not suck for long term wear
Same product for about a dollar less
https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/bS5G9GVK
Was the worst design trend ever tbh
>not just buying a $45 classic style g shock that will outlive you
I love mine. Planning on spending a couple hundred on a second set of IEMs sometime soon tho
Something with a more V-shaped and bass heavy sound profile to complement the DM6's flat reference feel
Today was a comfy day in the army
Man I keep my dm6 locked up or on my person like 24/7. They're precious to me
Anyone got any sidegrade recs from DM6 to a more V shaped profile?
Tin T2 for $35 and free shipping in USA, must have/create a Massdrop account to view https://drop.com/buy/tin-t2-iem
@Tribit It's all about SEO. The most-searched terms are gonna be along the lines of "best low cost drone" or "best cheap drone" and I guarantee this guys content ranks very well for those search terms.
It doesn't mean his are unreliable, however. As someone who makes a living doing more or less the same thing, I can tell you that, in most cases, anything labeled "best" is going to at least be above average, if not the actual best choice in its price bracket
So it's probably a pretty good drone lol
I'm anxiously awaiting actual reviews of these, I'll buy a pair instantly if they're any good
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jxHevl_TKQ4 Update, apparently the beautiful IEMs I posted a couple days ago are actually rather good. V-shaped sound profile which is what I was hoping for so I'm gonna pick up a pair. Now for the tough task of deciding between the many gorgeous styles available
>Order for $4 worth of shit never arrives after 3 months
>Put in a refund request through Ali
>Seller immediately starts barraging me with requests to cancel the refund and promises that the item will arrive
lol fuck off Chang
pls pls pls mr american me sucko you peniso please just gib me $4
The problem with wireless is that you can't really have an amp powerful enough for excellent sound quality without having a brick hanging on one side of your neck
That said, these $200 ones I just ordered from previously unheard of brand Peacock Audio come with a wireless adapter so I'll be sure to write up about that whenever I get and review them
You know, genetically engineered crops may be the key to solving world hunger and making human civilization sustainable in the long term, but things like this make me question whether it's really worth it
tfw don't even pay attention to smartphone advances because literally only one product line has what I'm looking for (LG v20/30/etc series with integrated hifi dac+amp)
In an era when most phones don't even have a 3.5mm jack, the ability to do away with a separate dap/amp is plenty to lock me in to the product line. Other features like the great cameras are nice too
Still love my v30, will upgrade probably at v60
In other news, I'm planning on getting a bunch of chink tourniquets and comparing them to brand new genuine CAT-7 tourniquets I have. I'm expecting all of them to cut off blood flow enough to stop hemmorhage, but for literally none of them to have any durability past that. I'll let y'all know if any of them meet the cut
I'm an army medic but wanna see if I can get my friends some basic trauma kits for cheap basically. Chinks don't do a lot in the way of budget medical supplies but tourniquets are brain dead simple, just need to be made well
Holy shit I cannot believe ali sells needle catheters. That seems hazardous
Yes tourniquets wrap tight around an arm or a leg to stop all blood flow and thus all bleeding. They hurt like hell but don't cause tissue damage and are a crucial part of any trauma kit
Needle catheters are the needle and tubing used to start an IV which is why I'm surprised aliexpress sells it
Even they could get in hot shit if some shitty supplier kills a bunch of people
Was just curious. I'd never stick anything chinese into anyone's veins
At least they don't sell fluids (would be illegal)
Buying a used gopro is usually a better bet
More reliable and often better features and compatibility for the same price. Lots of people (myself included) buy action cams and then basically never use them
That's because a Chink XL is a children's size large
@Joldberg I looked for a solution to that and sorry to say but the answer is that those types of sounds/noise cannot be canceled very well. Their volume can be reduced but, like, not negated entirely. Idk maybe I'm wrong but I didn't find a way and eventually changed where I recorded stuff
@Joldberg It's a different kind of noise. If you can hear it with your ears then the mic can hear it too. How is the mic gonna be able to tell a fan and AC unit apart from other shit in the room? Fuzzy shit and most digital noise reduction really only helps with more subtle noise I think
>Order is past customs and in USPS possession
<:nut:592062666365992963>
WHY WON'T MY TRACKING UPDATE REEEEEEEEEEEEE
This is the detailed info. It just means USPS couldn't be assed to put it into their system I think
That or stolen RIP
Secondhand parts
Linus tech tips actually just did a video about this recently
Basically Chinese companies are buying used computers, stripping the parts from them, and doing new builds
They do some funky shit too with bios and motherboards which was the focus of the video
lmao\
tru
I avoided LTT for a long time because I hate large tech channels, until I figured out that they're actually knowledgeable and interesting
Less "yeah dude here's another consumer grade tablet I get paid to review" and more "one of our guys had an idea and we hope that the video revenue offsets the costs"
Which is why it's good that it's not 100% linus
Intentionally speaking in simple english to appeal to as many third worlders as possible

I bet it's better than retard me paying $160 for a keyboard
Roccat overpriced "german engineering"
Buuut it's a really nice keyboard and I wanted the open keycap design. Vulcan 120 Aimo is the model name
CHINESE FUNDED SCHOOL SHOOTINGS
It's not like the airpods are going to be any different from the chink version tbh
And they're exactly what I'd hoped they would be - DM6 with +100 style points and a bass-heavy sound profile
Bass and especially sub-bass is noticeably elevated. The sound profile is actually quite similar to my V-Moda Crossfade 2s
Interesting and subtle bits of audio like the crackling at the start of Kali 47 by Savant retain detail. In general, the notes are very sharp, which is something I prefer.
They are quieter than DM6 though. Not sure if most phones' audio would be enough (I only have an LG v30 to test on)
I can't get over how pretty they are. Hand painted from the inside and you can tell.
Imagine buying a xiaomeme
Spotted at Seaworld San Diego
@basker I have a v30, which is a slight upgrade to the v20. It's a really great phone and the audio quality is exceptional
V30 and V40 have really nice camera systems as well so go for one of them if you can
Just got a set of Tin T2s (actually for my sister but I gave em a whirl) and I gotta say, fellas, they are horrendously overrated
They're marginally better quality than the KZ ZST I got for $20 on Amazon last December, and I don't think they're well tuned in the slightest
Peacock P1 IEMs ($200)
Figured Iโd give these a proper review in a more permanent place. Peacock is a company thatโs virtually unheard of even in chi-fi discussion boards, but I took the gamble anyways because of their stunning looks. But tldr is that theyโre actually fantastic, easily as good as my DM6 with tuning thatโs more in line with my music tastes.
Sound Quality โ Sound quality is superb, especially at the price point. I have to compare it to my DM6 because itโs actually very similar โ crisp, clean, and well-separated notes with no fuss. Some people describe the sound of earphones like this as โcoldโ or โharshโ but I call it โaccurateโ. These are not, however, focused in on accuracy and delivering audio at reference tuning. They are very bass-heavy, with mid-bass and low bass (but not subs) coming out especially prominent. Mids are recessed. I primarily listen to electronic music so this tuning is perfect for me. Theyโre not as bass-heavy as my V-Moda Crossfade 2 Wireless, but overall the sound profile is very similar. IMPORTANT: Most phones will not deliver enough power for these earphones. I recommend using a DAP/amp unless you *know* your phone will deliver enough power (my LG V30 works fine).
Build Quality and Comfort โ Good sound can be ruined by poor fit and weak build quality. This is a weak point for a lot of Chi-Fi brands, since itโs easy for them to skimp on materials while still getting rave reviews about sound. The P1 are made with acrylic/glass that is smooth and solid, but I donโt expect them to survive if I ever step on them. They use 2-pin connections that are generally more durable than MMCX. As for comfort, they fit my ear well and rest naturally, much more so than Tin T2s or my old RHA t20. Iโd say my DM6 fit my ears a little better but I imagine this changes for each person.
Looks โ Iโm a sucker for looks. And these are, simply put, the most beautiful IEMs Iโve ever owned. There are around 15 different color options to choose from, all of which look great. I ordered mine in โFlameโ and Iโm very pleased with the results. They are hand-painted from the inside with a small but stylish accent of Peacockโs logo on the face plate. I love these things and love to show them off.
Accessories โ Never have I received headphones with so many accessories at such high quality. You get leather cable clips and a leather carrying case with nice magnetic clamping. They also come with a braided silver-core cable that is very sturdy BUT has a very poorly-built connector. Replacement cable is on the way but the stock one still works well. They come with an array of silicon tips, none of which Iโve tried since I already have tips that I know fit my ears well. The icing on the cake is, for me, the included wireless audio cable. Itโs very simple and has hilariously poor Chinese voice prompts for on/off, connecting, etc, but it provides enough power and Bluetooth bitrate to make the earphones sound great.
Tldr โ Itโs like a BGVP DM6 with bass-heavy tuning and impeccable visual presentation. These are quickly becoming my favorite headphones in my collection.
Last night my sisters and I were dicking around finding retarded fidget spinners on ali. Highlights included two different kinds of mobile phone spinners https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32972570865.html and https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32846564119.html
And some recklessly dangerous fidget spinners that have blades on them https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32878780192.html
