yeah we know you're slow on the uptake
the kickstarter is a scam plain and simple
it claims to be the first BT cassette player
*it isn't*
yes on that part and the possible mono part i agree its silly
but thats marketing
>get base model (why the fuck they should make diy if good alternatives are there) and order it in custom X Y colors on buttons, inside and outside parts and replan the door and order those doors what fit the model....)
>rewrite the shit to support bluetooth and do firmware hack (if needed doubtfull if its ble standalone unit what sends digital audio directly from pins x and y) and re arrange stuff to make it fit possibly (hours and hours of work and planning and testing)
>what ever extra/different functions there is
>get it FCC certified due wireless bullshit (depending on way its done and chip etc etc)
>+all the other costs and expenses from that time
i see nothing else being "busted" other than their marketing group did not do enough research or they forgot the "first Bluetooth >LE/5.0< music player from the marketing due marketing is marketing or something else....
at least the <only> linked device there does not claim to be LE
so far as i see its just whining/rage baitting for those who hate the audio nostalgia autists/nostalgia boomers/etc
coming from man who has not even seen or handled the device to make sure it in reality is the fucking same internals
boomer arguments 🙄
where is my vinyl bluetooth 5.0 player
pretty sure there is one
there are
Victrola VPRO-2000
Tin T2 are $30 on ali and $35 on massdrop again btw
bought some replacement pads for my ad700x
i hope they aren't shit i paid 10$
And they're exactly what I'd hoped they would be - DM6 with +100 style points and a bass-heavy sound profile
These things are stunningly beautiful
Bass and especially sub-bass is noticeably elevated. The sound profile is actually quite similar to my V-Moda Crossfade 2s
Interesting and subtle bits of audio like the crackling at the start of Kali 47 by Savant retain detail. In general, the notes are very sharp, which is something I prefer.
They are quieter than DM6 though. Not sure if most phones' audio would be enough (I only have an LG v30 to test on)
I can't get over how pretty they are. Hand painted from the inside and you can tell.
they look like glittery earwax, guess its appropriate since you're sticking them in your ears
mh 755 for 22$ usd in europe is good value? @Windatica
no? you can get them for under $10
where
look for an eu ebay seller
i buy from the same seller but his US store instead
are they better than kz iems vivo xe800 and tin t2?
or equally good
wanna something for friend and he listened to my iems
kz is garbage, vivo xe800 have been discontinued for years, tin t2 is different sound signature so its preference
mh755 also has the weird cable
