2018-12-23 11:10:18 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

why does the US benefit from destabilizing Syria @Bogatyr Bogumir ?

2018-12-23 13:31:55 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

@Spookaswa Without the the US, Assad and others would get along just fine. The natural state of the arab and muslim world is utter traquility. The problem is that this only sounds true to you if you're stuck in bubble, where you keep swallowing your own bullshit `you retarded cum drinker`.

2018-12-23 13:36:07 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

how much better?

2018-12-23 13:36:22 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

would Assad not have opted for chemical weapons?

2018-12-23 13:36:41 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

or would the rebels not have beheaded as many?

2018-12-23 13:37:14 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

you're blaming a 3rd party

2018-12-23 13:37:36 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

when the real responsibility is on Europe and its retarded policy of blindly accepting refugees

2018-12-23 13:57:41 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

You're telling me that the arab world is destabilized because the west only gave them their own nations a couple decades later. How does that follow? You say the invasion of Iraq was the cause of some of the instability. I say it was Obama's pullout. It really depends on what point in time you're willing to take for granted. In your case, you'll go back all the way to WW1 to blame the west, while the discussion is centered on the US and not on the French and British. If you blame NATO and the US for getting involved in the Syrian civil war, why do you not also blame Russia, Iran and Hezbollah (still Iran)? You're assuming what would have happened in an alternate reality without interference. All the while, the Syrian civil was arose as part of the Arab Spring and the entire Arab Spring has been brutal. If you want to back all the way to WW1, I remember when the US didn't get involved and 90% of Ottoman Armenians were murdered. Increased support and weaponry doesn't necessarily increase scale. Look at the cold war: weaponry and support both kept increasing, but this only pushed the outcome to a stalemate. What was the difference? The conflict was between civilized white people.

2018-12-24 00:00:53 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

they use jordanian and israeli currency

2018-12-24 00:01:54 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

`Is Palisten a country?
Its has its own flag`

2018-12-24 00:01:57 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

hardly

2018-12-24 00:02:02 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

they use the standard arab flag

2018-12-24 00:04:10 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

`1. is able to enforce their own laws within their borders` - If they could, there would be no West Bank settlements, unless you dispute that being their territory.

2018-12-24 00:05:44 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

`2. have a standing army` - They don't have one. Gaza has a few armed foces. West Bank has another one. They're not one army.

2018-12-24 00:06:25 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

`3 . print their own currency` - Jordanian Dinar isn't their own currency, neither is the Israeli shekel

2018-12-24 00:07:07 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

`4. have international relations with other nations` - With how many? They certainly don't have relations with Israel.

2018-12-24 00:28:05 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

`They have international relations with many countries.` - I'm happy for them. `They are involved in many supranational organizations and many countries recognize them.`- Not enough do. `They DO have a standing army and security services.` - What is their 'standing army' called? `Their effectiveness is disputable, but that can be said of many nations.` - Which nation has no control over its armed forces? `They do technically have a flag.` - Yeah, it's the Flag of the Arab Federation. `A currency isnโ€™t necessarily a requirement for being a state`- Other guy said it was, but ok.

2018-12-24 00:33:27 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

Not enough to vote them fully in. And the Palestinian Security Forces aren't their army. They have no army. Who's in charge of the PSF? I know the answer, but I wanna play this out.

2018-12-24 00:38:36 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

just say it's the jews

2018-12-24 00:38:38 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

I don't care

2018-12-24 00:39:16 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

"palestine" isn't a full member state

2018-12-24 00:39:31 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

you can blame the jews for it

2018-12-24 00:39:36 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

doesn't change reality

2018-12-24 00:39:47 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

Abbas is in charge of the PSF

2018-12-24 00:39:55 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

and Abbas can't do shit in Gaza

2018-12-24 00:40:08 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

they're an inflated police force

2018-12-24 00:40:27 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

which army would defend "Palestine" from an invasion?

2018-12-24 00:40:41 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

neither

2018-12-24 00:40:46 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

Israel

2018-12-24 00:41:30 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

there is one army responsible for defending the gazan and the west bank borders

2018-12-24 00:41:37 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

what's that army called?

2018-12-24 00:42:01 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

habibi

2018-12-24 00:42:03 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

it's the IDF

2018-12-24 00:43:59 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

palestine's status as a soveirgn state is only recognized by individual countries

2018-12-24 00:44:07 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

no, it wouldn't

2018-12-24 00:44:17 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

if an invasion happened

2018-12-24 00:44:22 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

Abbas would hop on the phone

2018-12-24 00:44:25 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

and call up Bibi

2018-12-24 00:44:51 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

Article XII of the Oslo II Accord states:
โ€ณIn order to guarantee public order and internal security for the Palestinians of the West Bank and the Gaza Strip, the [Palestinian] Council shall establish a strong police force as set out in Article XIV below. Israel shall continue to carry the responsibility for defense against external threats, including the responsibility for protecting the Egyptian and Jordanian borders, and for defense against external threats from the sea and from the air, as well as the responsibility for overall security of Israelis and Settlements, for the purpose of safeguarding their internal security and public order, and will have all the powers to take the steps necessary to meet this responsibility.โ€ณ

2018-12-24 00:45:21 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

except it's not legally bound to call France

2018-12-24 00:45:26 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

like "palestine" is

2018-12-24 00:47:14 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

I don't have to disqualify it to be a nation

2018-12-24 00:47:28 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

you have to qualify it as one

2018-12-24 00:47:40 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

and according to that dude's definition

2018-12-24 00:47:44 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

it's not doing well

2018-12-24 00:48:06 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

sounds like he's close to being 100% wrong then

2018-12-24 00:49:12 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

if palestine wants to be a soveirgn nation

2018-12-24 00:49:18 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

it needs to negotiate with Israel

2018-12-24 00:50:19 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

that's not how it works.

2018-12-24 00:50:39 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

when going by individual recognition

2018-12-24 00:50:55 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

it's a state only within the context of its relationship with that country

2018-12-24 00:51:19 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

if it wants to be a soveirgn state

2018-12-24 00:51:26 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

it needs to be voted in like Israel

2018-12-24 00:51:38 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

and have control over its borders

2018-12-24 00:51:53 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

and it'll only get that

2018-12-24 00:52:01 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

once it negotiates with Israel

2018-12-24 00:53:32 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

they had no issue when it came to Israel

2018-12-24 00:53:43 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

or any other mid eastern state created at that time

2018-12-24 00:53:58 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

if the legal opinion has since changed

2018-12-24 00:54:08 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

then it now goes by individual bilateral basis

2018-12-24 00:54:21 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

in which case, it's only a soveirgn nation

2018-12-24 00:54:27 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

once Israel recognizes it

2018-12-24 00:54:35 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

which brings it back to the original conclusion

2018-12-24 00:54:41 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

that it needs to negotiate with Israel

2018-12-24 00:57:52 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

your guys' argument is that the UN has no role here

2018-12-24 00:58:10 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

and that Israel should recognize it because some other country does

2018-12-24 00:58:21 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

which is a new principle

2018-12-24 00:58:39 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

I can as easily argue that those nations shouldn't recognize Palestine because Israel doesn't

2018-12-24 01:28:14 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

it doesn't fit any of it

2018-12-24 01:28:52 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

` juridical entity` - can Abbas try Gazan war criminals?

2018-12-24 01:29:33 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

`that is represented by one centralized government that has sovereignty over a geographic area.` - When was the last time Abbas has called off Gazan missiles ?

2018-12-24 01:31:01 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

`as having a permanent population` - this isn't true according even the Palestinians, with them claiming ever growing nth generation refugees

2018-12-24 01:31:29 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

nor is true, because they claim the population of Israeli Arabs

2018-12-24 01:32:07 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

` defined territory` - only if you forget about the West Bank and the northern territory contested between Israel, Syria and Palestine

2018-12-24 01:32:46 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

` one government` - again, this exists in name only. Gaza and West Bank are ran seperately

2018-12-24 01:33:21 UTC [The Right Cafe #serious]

`and the capacity to enter into relations with other sovereign states.` - if Abbas chose to negotiate with Israel, Gaza would not follow
