The importance placed on academics I would judge as misguided. Institutions are products of a people, it's culture and it's religion and they form as a result of their changes, not as a result of the Institution.

It's an attempt to fix the problems inherent in monarchy it looks like. But the assumption that the lack of education is what creates poor ministers is a misconception here

Honestly, the best way to fix the flaws in the philosophy is to recognize the limitations of ideology.

Our Faith is a Universal fractal, a microcosm of all things. We should strive to build our political institutions along the lines by which we were created, God's image.

God is not a Philosophy-King. There needs to be nothing attached to his title to indicate who He is. So too with the name of King.

God is not King because of some virtue God has, but by the fact that He is the creator of the Universe. All else is secondary.

So too, a King is called so because he is the Father or inheritor of a Kingdom. The Pope called so because he's the heir to Saint Peter.

People think monarchy is a tricky thing to reestablish or correct when it has gone awry. This is the worry of many who look at monarchy.
Fascism is a temporary state, but it's often idolized at a final endpoint.
But we have historical precedent for this. For which I will present two examples.

1. Pepin, Son of Charles Martel. Who held all of the power of the Frankish Kingdom and the Legacy of his Father but yet was not King. The Merovingian Kings by that time had become puppets, weak, soft and ineffectual, to the Mayors of the Palace. The Pope himself gave Pepin the blessing to establish the Karlings as the Kings of the Franks saying that he who holds the power of King should also take the name of King. There are extreme times where the Church working together with he who holds the power of King to reestablish the power of Kingdoms.

2. Napoleon. Although beginning as a Left wing Republican, Napoleon saw that only a monarchy can preserve the legacy of mankind and, while dealing with a much weaker Pontiff and Church by then, he sought to establish a monarchy from a Military dictatorship. After gaining all of the Republican powers he could, he still found that a monarchy was superior and the only way to guarantee the survival of the work.
In this we can see how a Fascist dictator might legitimize himself in that of a monarchy, restoring the fabric of a revolution into the tapestry of the Counter-Revolution.
Not so perfect of course, but it's certainly better than waiting for the criminal masters in the Oligarchy called Republic to fail.

Not calling Napoleon a Fascist obviously, but Fascism means so many things to so many people that it isnt you might as well call him a Napolofascist XD

Fascism works, just depends on what you mean by "works" - It's variants are so different that only Italian Fascism can really be called Fascism. Everything else is something else.

I stood up to my local village government today.

And got told, pretty much without abridhement or irony that the powers of the Police are independent of the towns they patrol and that the Justice system is a collection agency for the government.

@Romanus Drevo Local police have been giving out citations like water and the court system has been jammed and people are losing money more money to defend themselves than it would be to pay the tickets. It's affecting the way people live, my family included.

My Trans friend asked for an apology, I only said I was sorry that he felt negative for what I told him but stood my ground. Eventually he apologized and we're decent now.
