in capitalism if someone starts out with a teensy bit more military, economic, or other means than the rest, they can quickly turn that into political influence, which in turn enables them to amass more means

I was just discussing politics with my very socialist, pro government mom

I honestly couldn't care less about democrats or republicans or left or right

At least where i live

Both left and right are pro government

My mom was pretty understanding and caring

But we fundamentally disagreed on a lot of things

Specially on individual freedom

She's against use of hardcore drugs for example

A lot of republicans are pro government as well
