Do tell
Whoa whoa whoa Evansville? You in IN?
>me late to party and never on discord
Iโm home on terminal in Owensboro
Noice. Itโs a shame Iโm not moving back; wife is still active in AZ
Where you goin?
Appalachian or different mountains?
Gonna go the lumberjack route?
Work buddy is from Montana and loves it
Says itโs beautiful and everyoneโs progun, etc
Havenโt smoked since high school
so SOON
Lmao You brave soul
Oh you right
I forgot about that. Only learned it recently
Beautiful. I got a BK9 recently and that thing is a beast
Itโs in AZ so I only have what I brought
Can send pic of that tho lol
Lemme find the exact name. It was sponsored by warrior poet society
I fucked up the finish when I remolded the sheath but itโs a solid knife
Has some heft to it and feels great in the hand
Oh thatโs beautiful
But like pirate aesthetic
I definitely prefer the grip on these than those neck knives with the blade centered in the handle
Feel like they fold into your hands easily
Got this one recently. Part of the Ruger CRKT lineup
Tanto flipper 4โ. Thing is heavy
Thing is sharp. Accidentally closed the serrations one my thumb and it went deep
I mean. Depends on what kinda boog youโre in I suppose
Are you thinking a combat knife, easy to hide knife, bushcraft/survival knife?
Let one I got on me. Keramin - karambit style CRKT minimalist. I got small hands so my hands fit perfectly in it and I get a great grip on it. Spot on the blunt side is a great spot to put pressure with my thumb for pushing in and retention on the knife.
-last one
Definitely hard to go wrong with that combo. I donโt think I could boil it down to just one knife
A lot of people like ESEE knives. Seem like theyโre comparable to KABARs in a combat sense, and Iโve seen them take some harsh abuse in survival videos
Definitely
I think the ESEE 5 is small enough for EDC but Iโd definitely prefer the 6 if size isnโt a big deal
Definitely. Pry open/break down doors, make firewood, intimidating as hell lol
Lmao I wouldโve too
Big dick energy
I couldnโt carry an ax daily lmao
I mean I could legally in AZ and now KY but I wouldnโt
You wonโt do it
No way lmao
I mean
It is Indiana
Yeah Iโm in Tucson
You?
@VI/K/INGinnaTRENCH/K/OAT Youโre a savage
My man
I moved to AZ a year ago
Damn
Bruh
Hook me up
Iโm on terminal leave starting school soon
Security Forces ๐ข
Done my 6. DOS is in Jan
Basically
Some of us are cooler, but itโs a small minority
Iโm definitely not in the cool kids club
It is
Itโs not hard really
Laugh is more likely
My MTI the night I arrived was this short stocky prob Filipino dude built like a bull
Thought he was gonna rip our asses
Stuttered the whole time
All intimidation lost
Not true
GED & 15 credits. One of my troops did it
College credits
Five three credit classes so pretty much a semester
Feel like itโs impossible to find a knife with a belt cutter for some reason
Iโm not sure tbh
Recruiter could answer that. I doubt theyโd care though
Are you a good test taker?
Do some CLEPs
You just test out of classes and earn full credits for them
You pay for the CLEP, they give you the study material, then you schedule the actual test at a testing center (most colleges have them)
Iโve never heard of a requirement for what classes they are
Iโd ask just in case but the only thing Iโve ever heard is 15 college credits
I just blew through 12 credits in four CLEPs recently
Flip side
Downloaded it last night; havenโt tried it out yet
True
Itโs easier for me when I wean off it instead of cold turkey
For them@Rhodesia fanbois
Thatโs fucking dope man
Would make a badass album cover
I try to be more optimistic but at this point the way I see it is if nothing matters, why not try to have fun? Like @thedarkness05 says create your own meaning, even if itโs temporary
I dig it. Thatโs some shit Iโd like to dream about
That was definitely a big part of it for me as well. Stop worrying about other peopleโs perceptions and expectations. Do what makes you happy. And if you donโt know what that is, put yourself out there and try something new. The hard part is getting up and going
What is it? Looks classy
Itโs beautiful. Thatโs the first thing that came to mind but nobody I know has an FAL
Dig the carrying handle for the jungle
