Hello kings. I got a relationship problem.

Gf is awesome when I'm around. Most of the time. She's kind of messed up in the head and does stupid shit when she's drunk. I've been helping her overcome her problems for the past six months or so.

Right now I'm in the field, so I'm away. She just did some stupid shit to her roommate and might have gotten herself in trouble because she was drinking again and I wasn't there to stop her.

I've only been gone like three weeks. I don't see her again for another five months.

She keeps drunk texting me about how sometimes she purposely tries to make me upset so I leave her, because I apparently deserve someone better.

What am I supposed to make of this?

I don't think she's cheating on me or anything

She just does dumbass shit that's bad her her physical and mental health.

Sometimes I feel like a dad more than a boyfriend. Like I have to baby her about being an adult and doing basic adult things right.

Anyone awake?

Gf agreed to stop drinking for good.

I told her she's done.

And anyone that offers her alcohol is no longer her friend.

But it's hard to put someone on lock down when you're not there.

Her and I used to get absolutely trashed together.

And the end result was never good.

I stopped drinking because I knew what it was doing to me.

But she doesn't have the kind of self control and self discipline I have.

I'm hoping she means it this time.

She's looking at some real hefty paperwork right now over what happened yesterday. If that doesn't get it into her head, I don't know what will.
