What do you consider artificial value
And what's authentic value
I don't consider that artificial
you realize you can choose to make something else ๐คท
and besides
whats wrong with there being value in rarer things?
I might be left leaning
but i definitely wouldn't say that communism is the answer!
not pure communism*
I'm from cali~
I'm also in the most liberal area
undergoing the most liberal education
in the US
:voke:
whoops
nononono, you have a wrong impression of america
*some areas are right wing
but i happen to be in an incredibly left leaning area
where the minimum wage is like 20 dollars
but as a former economics major
I think that under a modified capitalism
we can maximize overall utility
and shouldn't maximized happiness
be the primary goal of the government?
I'd rather be the world be happier as a whole and progressing towards greater levels of happiness
than any other situation
just because the majority of the world is capitalistic
doesn't mean that anything not considered capitalistic is communism o.o
communism requires all property to be owned by the populace
but in reality you can even have an in between situation
nonono, in theory you definitely could
extreme example
but if half the means of production were publically owned
and the other half was privately owned
that wouldn't fall into communism or capitalism ๐ค
i'm not saying it would be in between communism and capitalism
i'm saying that it wouldn't fall into either category
ah, I articulated my statement poorly
my apologies
I should have been more specific :D
i aint a commie
wot
but china became more powerful after it introduced capitalism to its economy ๐ค
in fact, capitalism made china more powerful!
hail capitalism
seig heil!!!
Marx is dumb
