in my opinion, i feel like the way blizzard handles balancing is bad

well i guess its the result of having the community decide balancing for you, not the grandmasters/top500 players who actually have some credibility behind what they say, but the golds who make up the majority of the community.

someone called mercy's buff/nerf ass and said jeff should replace the balancing team. they got banned for 30 days without even breaking any of the community guidelines.

blizzard always add a huge patch at once without incrementally changing the heroes over the season. the result is that no one can keep up with that one change and metas no longer work. it's depressing when mercy one trick players cant even play mercy anymore because of her rework. they're probably going to implement an actual fix to the character rework after a week like they usually do. eg bastion's buff

not really, they nerfed defense matrix and buffed mercy and junkrat.

anyways, when bastion released it was essentially whoever supports the bastion the best wins the game. which in of itself was pretty sad, and blizzard took a week to actually fix the issue.

now any decent gm levelled player can shit on the other team as junkrat whereas before buff he used to be a character that required some amount of skill and gamesense to play

junkrat holds two mines that dont require aim, and do 120 damage each

and is splash damage mostly

so if using one wasnt bad enough to destroy most of the 200~250 health heroes

he now has two, along with a nonstop barrage of grenades(his primary fire) that dva cant even defense matrix anymore because blizzard nerfed that.

lets not forget that there were junkrat mains in the top 500, that had no problem with junkrat before buff. but since the golds and platinum players complained lets buff junkrat for them!

if junkrat could be switched off so easily, lets buff bastion back to where he was when blizzard first buffed him as well, because i he can be switched off really easily as much as junkrat, if not even more.

to be honest it would be a good idea to just leave overwatch where it was god damnit.
