plenty of times

that isnt the kind of model that would be adverse to a hammer

its all solid plastic

as opposed to real terrain modelling

with epoxy water and plaster earth

that isnt a diorama though

its typical of gamestores

they have a bunch of terrain pieces held in common

and theyll grab out a bunch to set up a game

it takes some time and effort to assemble and paint

but its not the same level as train dioramas

everything is built into the scene

if you ust put a bunch of modular buildings on top of a level ground

it wouldnt look good

or ats least not diorama good

itd be normal quality for wargames though

because they only have a few tables

and dont have the space to constantly be changing tables

the 3d printing industry for wargaming terrain has been quite promising

there are a few places selling modular terrain files

for buildings and natural features

so you can build whatever you want in whatever layout you want

for a very cheap price
