I talked with my grandparents today about ww2 and the holocaust. Jews were killed in the streets and forced into concentration camps, but we hit a snag when it came to gassings. My grandma says that it was the Russians while my grandpa says it was both German SS and the Russians who did gassings. It seems both the Allies and the Axis did atrocities, but the atrocities of the Allies are kept hidden while the atrocities from thile Germans are constantly being mentioned to this day. Germans need to stop with all the guilt. It's been so long since then.
