I believe Muhammed is pretty underrated
His rise to power indicates a high level of social and strategic intelligence
He wasn't really a dumb mutt as many people believe
Even though the Ideology (Islam) is pretty flawed. Still, he knew how to spread an Islamic plague that'll last for centuries
@RICHSUPEDSTAR I never said that he was educated, I said that he had high social and strategical intelligence.
For example, in one of his conquests. His army was only 4k against 10k, yet he still managed to win the conquest simply by making his soldiers switch places (For example bowmen on the north and swordmen on the south instead of the traditional placements that the enemies been witnessing in the prior conquests) so that the enemy will see different people, faces, and soldiers and that might give them the illusion that muhammed recruited many new soldiers and that his army became much bigger.
Muhammed was known to be unpredictable in wars, enemies place certain strategies and predictions against the Islamic army based on their prior experience with them but then muhammed would do something unpredictable to ruin these strategies and crush the enemy's hopes and expectations.
+ He knew how to convince the masses by simply coming up with an ideology/religion that seemed more logical than the other ones at that time. He avoided the flaws of Christianity and Judaism, and provided what these two failed to provide.
And again, Islam is not perfect either. It's filled with immoralities and logical fallacies but the Islamic interpretation of God on the surface level seemed more convincing to the people of that time than the other religions(A so-called all-powerful God that is way way beyond than a material or a spiritual thing seems more powerful than the Gods of Christianity and Judaism)
+ Islam promising them with a better life, more money, food, etc.. is also one of the reasons why it seemed convincing at that time.
