what was the site with the guy who reviews inears?
audiobudget?
thx
Audiobudget is ewww
Unless your broke and can only afford under 20 stuff
t i n a u d i o
can only afford under $20: mh750
can afford over $20: t2 / t3
I'm using the MH750 with tips that cost more than the IEM itself and they actually slam
The under 100 Chi fi game is so boring
T2/T3 usually beats out most stuff and its been well over a year
mh750 is great, 755 is better but the cable is major gay
$150+ chi fi is when things get good
When i get some cash
Ill buy the dm7
Dm6
Dm7 Is 300 USD holy shit
DM6 are really really good
I love mine. Planning on spending a couple hundred on a second set of IEMs sometime soon tho
Something with a more V-shaped and bass heavy sound profile to complement the DM6's flat reference feel
Okay guys, I had the Tin T2 IEMs with a MEE Audio BTX2 BT adapter, worked lovely until I left them at school and they got stolen.
Any recommendations? Preferably something budget friendly.
I think the T2s are very good for their price, what about MMCX BT adapters?
Or some other solutions I've missed?
get trn bt3 when sale below $20
Somebody stole T2s?
Could be someone from this very discord . . ..
Seeing how much they're shilled here
Some retard stole mine, had foamies on them
Have fun getting tinnitus faggot who stole my T2s
How do you let people steal them?
Do you just leave them on a table with a sign saying "please take me"
Man I keep my dm6 locked up or on my person like 24/7. They're precious to me
Same. My GR07 are either in my ears or in a zipped pocket when I'm out
just don't go outside
@Semi Truck mc Clusterfuck Thin gym shorts, large shure case
case fell out of my pocket
found it like a week later, no headphones
Wow fuck this discord
I lost my KZ wtf
Who jinxed me
get screwed <:alismirk:230784726615588865>
i have all your iems now
>lost my KZ
and absolutely nothing of value was lost <:alismirk:230784726615588865>
mh750 time
>having your items get stolen
do you live near criminals or something
Somebody was nice enough to put in my uni lost and found
<:aliOK:251417852156837888>
O have a bad habit of leaving my earphones unplugged on a table
That's how I lost my orginal T2
Man fuck KZ somebody in my school is buying from me
Going to buy T3s and be done
you should probably just stick with t2 + new cable
t3 isn't an upgrade
Yeah i know its a sidegrade but i saw i can get it for 50 on drop and yoloed it <:pepestressed:327933525124841482>
I've gone through 2 pairs of t2s because of the washing machine
Stick to lower cost buds because I'm too retarded to handle t2s
mh750 for you fren
My T2 cable is breaking apart
What do
Buy new cable? ๐ค ๐ค ๐ค ๐ค ๐ค ๐ค ๐ค ๐ค ๐ค ๐ค
mmcx
Is qcy any good lads
Debating between qcys and airdots
Qcy
How's the battery life and soii
Sound
Also nice avatar
Are there any of these with USB-C rather than micro?
Don't think so bud
These are sold to poorer countries so keeping micro USB over type C sells better I would imagine
Aight, thanks.
Chinks can into upgrades after all
Top is old one, wire torn and barely working from stress on the connector
Bottom is new cable, with built in stress reliever
Anyone got any sidegrade recs from DM6 to a more V shaped profile?
try eq?
To anyone who bought a new cable for their T2s after the cable disintegrated, did you buy a straight down cable or one of those hook ones
Hook one like this
I have a hook one, but it's just heatshrink molded to the form of a hook
Though I had one very similar before my current one that did not have a hook
(which I thought I was rebuying but it ended up being an upgraded version with stress relievers (posted a bit above))
@Supa Dupt My cable hasn't broken yet, but I bought a second straight cable without hooks. After I got used to the weight of the T2 I just wore them normally.
hello boys
QCY T2C/QS2 are on sale along with the QCY M1
which ones sound better or have better battery life?
somebody already posted that deal
and also you should probably ask the Certified Autist(tm) for this, Bart "scarbir" Breij
uh looks like he hasn't said anything about the m1
might be their newest product
I got the Q29 which seems just like last years T2C (not really following this)
they're alright, battery life is okay especially with the case. I'm sure I've gone into more detail before, tbh havent used them in at least a couple months.
wired IEM is just comfier
@dee why is wired more comfy?
and do you mean wired as in 3.5mm jack
or this?
jack
its just easier, and sounds better
ah, i already got headphones tho, im buyin these mostly for when i'm exercising
made a mmcx cable from a fake pair of vivo xe800's
very apple-esque, big ups to taobao for cheap-ass mmcx connectors
literally anywhere from a half to a tenth the price compared to what you can get in the states
too bad i had no white heatshrink
looks gr8 m8
my t2โs keep falling out of my ears
my t2s got quiet in one ear
too lazy to replace cable so i just stopped using it
i've gotten more comfortable with buying things off taobao so i think i'll try something more ambitious with my next mh755 journey
i have some clear 9.2mm shells in my cart that i plan on transplanting some mh755 drivers into
i also still have my fake vivo xe800 shells which seem to fit fine, but can't really make them detachable cable in any way because they're too small for any type of connector
Anyone got any experience with the FiiO K3?
Thinking of picking one up
@Windatica I plan on trying to transplant MH755 driver into SE215 shell
It's gonna look really ass though since the driver is a full 2mm in diameter bigger than the SE215 one
i also have these but i have no idea whatsoever on how to use them
i have a cable that looks like it uses these connectors too, which isnt helpful
I'm after a 0.75mm 2-pin BT cable, but decent quality, the one I got off aliexpress the battery dies too quickly and the range is bad.
price isn't an issue but want decent battery life and range etc
@Windatica How did you attach the mmcx conntectors? Did you strip the ends of the wires to the iems to solder to the mmcx, then pushed the whole lot inside the housing? Did it affect the acoustics of the iems?
@billsikes trn bt
@Aqualiteking wat
if you're asking about the mh755, then all you do is remove the old cable entirely and drill a hole big enough to stick mmcx connectors into, i don't think it changes the sound at all because the driver and where it is contained is seperate from the parts that are modified
i think it would be possible to remove the back of the mh755 entirely and probably have little to no effect on the sound'
is there a guide I can check or do I have to ask here?
oh nvm imma go on the thread I guess
oh fuck there's like fifty different kidns
wat
looking for best value bluetooth earbuds
dunno if i want to get extremely cheap ones or pay like 30$

@uuuu dont buy monks, check the earbuds in pinned messages, theyre much better
hello dears split between sr850 and hd681 rn
first of all how shit are the pads on both especially sr850s velour ones second i live in a pretty hot part of world so which ones gonna fry my ears less and last compared to hyperx cloud core how good/bad is the sound
kisses
Velour on Superlux hardens somewhat quick
I use mine on and off; been six months and they're starting to stiff
Older cans I have needed pads after becoming unusable a year later
668B especially with the head cushions that are made of the same stuff; they now hurt my head
yeah i replaced my superlux earpads pretty quick
the head cushions i just cut off when they got hard
interestingly enough the velour pads on my takstar hi2050s from like 6 years ago is still soft..ish
its not as plush anymore unfortunately but it be like that
Just cut the cushions off??
"Just fuck my shit up, thanks"
???
its way more comfy with the hard cushions gone
The bare wires hurt less? <:rolf:589102490696548371>
Feels good man
<:rolf:589102490696548371>
What's the microphone?
modmic
ive had these for 6 years
still going strong
Yeah, I've had mine for a while too. Looking for velours that don't suck, not having any luck.
If I get one of those modmics, do you think I should put it on the 668B or the 681HD?
i think you should get something other than a modmic
I don't know what to look for as of now, what's something good you can suggest?
a microphone on a scissor arm
bm-800, nw-3u, etc
I mean, sure, but while a full-size mic will always be better I'm not streaming, or doing anything that requires particular sound quality. I'd just like to add a mic to a set of cans if I want to talk to friends or whatever. Also something a little more mobile, that could go on vacation or other parts of my home.
you could try a cable with an in-line microphone but that might be not what you want ยฏ\_(ใ)_/ยฏ
you would also need either a splitter or a dongle that can correctly detect the trrs connection
@Iren Masot use a vmoda mic if your heaphones have a input jack on them
No input jack on Superlux stuff
Need to bodge something instead
:^)
modmic is fine, just dont get the 4, my friend got the 4 and it was worse than the one he had before
an essential, well not essential but its cheap and improves things a lot, is to get one of those cheap little usb soundcards and plug the mic into that
it get rid of any hiss from the mobo and it improves sound quality a bit
like one of these kind
i got one for like $5 and it had a decent jump in quality and removed the hiss
thanks crin
Lost my bluedio TNs and need something new, anyone got any experience with QCY QS2?
if u liked them why risk
@Windatica Where did you cop your mh755?
bre fashion on eBay @Aqualiteking
can anyone recommend a set of tips for earbuds
sony mh755 tips
Aren't those the silicone foam ?
they're silicone
hnnnnnngg
I'm anxiously awaiting actual reviews of these, I'll buy a pair instantly if they're any good
Peacock Audio P1 and theyre $200
can't find any seller with the name bre fashion
Colourful kidney stones
Collect em all
My mom wants some wireless headphones for listening to music (yeah I know, wired is way higher quality, I told her that, she still wants wireless)
she'd mostly be using these when excersizing and dancing, what should I get her?, budget of ยฃ20 ($25) or less
she would prefer over-ear headphones (yeah I know, even worse for wireless..)
Bre moment
i actually have a *pink* one coming in soon
@Speshu KZ ZSN Pro with the bluetooth module perhaps? Would meet your budget at least.
My sister made a similar inquiry to me last week.
Also ZSN Pro are a tenner at the moment, get in there del boy!
maybe the oneodio Marshall wireless clone
heck..
Mods posting ref links
Really living up to the* faggotry
its a Planned Feature
@Windatica where would i buy those tips
aliexpress
ion see nothin
i think ill just buy generic memory foam tips
otherwise, it's the link he posted earlier
just buy the iems themselves
i think you can do that to also get genuine sony hybrid tips but not sure what sony iem is cheap enough and has all tips
maybe some xba
don't buy the ali/nicehck sony hybrids, they aren't the same thing
much more grippy and irritating
which hybrids? the silicone only one or silicone+foam composite things
hybrid refers to the silicone ones with a stiff, rubber tip that's colored ;) for your pleasure, the silicone+foam are hybrid isolation tips
ah thanks for making the distinction
I got some hybrid isolations with my wf-1000x and have been using them on mh750 and they're comfy as hell
are they good
the wf-1000x>
they're great sound wise, very like mh750/755 in terms of sound signature, but the communication issues are a major put off
I'm getting them serviced with Sony since I'm fairly sure they're faulty
glad to see DROP shipping is still garbage
br-e moment
Skybox it
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jxHevl_TKQ4 Update, apparently the beautiful IEMs I posted a couple days ago are actually rather good. V-shaped sound profile which is what I was hoping for so I'm gonna pick up a pair. Now for the tough task of deciding between the many gorgeous styles available
They look like a bad drug trip
