Or you can go my (and many others) route and simply use a Dayton iMM6 with some 8/10mm vinyl tubing as a coupler

its actually really quite accurate once compensated to IEC711

all you need other than that is a small USB soundcard with a low enough noise floor

and software of course

for actual headphones, it's an entirely different story

most brands will have at least a front l/r and center channel designed

and *maybe* a rear l/r

but you can just use the same speaker as front

and sub you can get whatever

sometimes the company will also make a sub product

but sticking to the same brand for a sub is kind of dumb

also imo 3.2 > 5.1

two subs really are nice for panning

and you dont get any weird rear channel fuckery
