Greece is poor due to many reasons

1) Mountainous country --> very high cost for infrastructure
2) add to that corruption and bureaucracy, making everything 5x more expensive
3) At the border of the migration flux, making it hard to patrol the coast
4) the EU does fuck all to help either by a) sending the migrants back or b) sending money
