I had to have not one but two emergency iron infusions when I was vegan. and I was a vegan priest with a vegan startup. I thought I knew everything about getting enough iron. and a PhD in Chemistry...

my vegan girlfriend at the time started suffering severe depression and was having thoughts of suicide. turns out she was severely B12 deficient. after getting injections her depression went away. and we both knew to be aware of B12. the problem is the supplements are NOT the same as getting B12 from animal products.

we also used nutritional yeast a lot which is supposedly high in B12. was useless.

It's just dangerous. Most vegan youtubers have been caught eating meat. People have started losing their vision because they didn't have the proper vitamins and minerals to maintain their body. Humans are **omnivores** for a reason.

You need nutrients from **both** plants and animals.
