Also I'm super PISSED AND JEALOUS
There's someone with a 1986 or 87 Lincoln town car, same model as mine in the employee parking lot :(
Mine's at the body shop ;_;
I love my baby Lincoln ;~;
what's a decent old car to get?
any truck from 85-2000
easy to find parts, large engine compartment, versatile and easy to work on
and dont get one from ford right?
ive heard f-150s are incredibly shit
I literally own an f150
owned a 98 ram 1500 before that
both have been great trucks for me
ah
F150 is harder to work on because its 15 years newer
not because its an f150
I also would not recommend diesel engines at all
i like my friend's 99 integra but its small af
yeah I'm not sure
its all up to what you want to use it fore
for
im possibly buying my dad's 06 hhr for $500 but he's taken such shit care of it
OH GOD HHR
THATS LIKE THE BLOCKY PT CRUISER
@SheepTeeth lookit old 80's luxury car gauges. I miss this car man
bruh i hate that damn hhr but shit its for $500
does it run and drive
will it run and drive for 2 years
Yo anyone remember ghostrider? https://youtu.be/OTuUcKUF9Ck

**The Honda Civic was actually considered by the US Navy as the replacement of the F-18C. They chose to upgrade the F-18 because the Civic was so powerful that it tore up the flight deck of the USS Nimitz, and sent men flying overboard. The current models of the F-18 use a downgraded version of the Civic's engine with significantly less VTEC.**
Oof
that image is hard to view
its like one of those images tagged with "try to name something in this pic"
There was Killdozer..... Now, there is the Killcart
I started sanding a rust spot on my car.
... I would be much easier if I had an electric sander of sorts.
I did sand down pretty good, though not enough
but for now, I ended up just covering what I did with a bit of enamel.
so it looks like im gonna buy the integra
it just need a new compressor
Those are good cars. They are easy to work on and parts are cheap EVEN if you get a shitty beat up one.
$3,950
oof
Yesterday my neighbor gave me a ride to work in his 1987 Acura Integra
When he bought it, he got it for $600, it was abused to shit, completely fixed it up
He loves it and I can see why, it's well taken care of
The analog dash is really cool
Thats real nice. That car probably drives like new and he probably put less than 10k into it. New cars are a scam, man.
Only lesbians drive subarus
And retarded upper middle class families
Colorado is known for it's excess and extreme fandom of Subarus.
I need to buy a new battery for the lincoln
The old battery..
is just bungie corded into the car
Thats how you have a dead car without warning. A shorting car battery is basically a bomb.
The battery died because I accidentally left a light on (my dad installed fog lights and put the switch where your knees go when you drive the car)
The battery is from 2013 and it was super overpowered
He cinched it down to the car because he installed an overpowered battery for it
It fit in the area, but the original way of tying down the battery/keeping it in place isn't there anymore (?)
We brought in the old battery when I bought the new one and the guy at the desk was just like "what the fuck, that's WAY too powerful for that car"
I think a 1986 town car CCA is 540? But he had something like 750 lmfao
That poor O'Reilly's clerk, struggling to haul away that old battery
The one I got is 590 CCA so it should work really well
How old is your car? @SheepTeeth
If I were to ever buy a Subaru it would be for off road rally only no rice shit
Retards rice Subaruโs
@Jefferson 1986
So youre driving around in thirty three years old car?
Is that legal?
Yeah
I also drive a 1957 car
The vintage car hobby is alive and well in America
Idk why it wouldn't be legal to drive an older car lmfao <:KEK:465443054254424065> @nnqlnc
Get a load of this one
Dont you waste more money on repairs
Than on buying an actual new vehicle
<:KEK:465443054254424065>
Dude
Yeah lemme just buy this $35k car that depreciates in value $3-5k per year and has to go to the dealership because none of our local mechanics can afford a $10-15k diagnostics kit for new vehicles, that I don't enjoy driving
Not really how it works but alright
Keep driving ur 33 year old car
Yeah, and I'll enjoy it
>not really how it works
Ok buddy, guess as an American living in rural America, I have no idea how new cars work out here
Pretty much
Most new cars are Asian imports and parts have to be imported if they're not readily available. I drive a domestic model so that isn't a problem
That and I don't have to get my car towed 50 miles to Tacoma if I need to take it to a dealership.
I bought a semi new car for 10k and im doing just find with it
But I dont really live in rural america
@Jefferson If I buy a 29 FUCKING YEAR OLD Honda CRX and i have to replace the ENTIRE GODDAMN ENGINE every year, it would still cost less than financing the cheapest car on the american market. Replacing on a CRX costs 1500$ for the engine (assuming you dont go to junker) and, if you pay someone else, $1000, totalling to 2,500 dollars. The cheapest new car with the cheapo financing will run you at least 3,000 a year in payments lmao (Nissan versa)
