Isn't the theocrat about the bible?

2019-07-11 00:50:16 UTC

@DrRisen Why would I need to learn Hinduism to spread Christianity?

2019-07-11 00:58:48 UTC

@Deleted User To understand how a Hindi thinks, and translating your good word into something understandable from their point of view.

2019-07-11 01:35:16 UTC

Is it just me or does an unattended child screaming at the top of their lungs put you into a sort of primal *Potential extreme danger, protect child at all costs including your own safety* mentality.

2019-07-11 01:37:59 UTC

I don't know but women screaming makes my pp hard

2019-07-11 01:38:07 UTC

anyone else get that

2019-07-11 01:38:20 UTC

or is it just me

<@&588707615643795456> Daily Question โœ

-Should Church and State be seperate? Why/Why not? What powers should the Church have?

2019-07-12 03:18:19 UTC

Partly, the Church shouldnt intervene in everyday governance but should stop the state from promoting other religions or making sinful laws

2019-07-12 03:18:41 UTC

^

2019-07-12 03:19:21 UTC

the church should be in charge of education and law making

2019-07-12 03:19:23 UTC

for sure

2019-07-12 05:41:36 UTC

We must clarify what exactly we mean when we say "the church"

2019-07-12 05:42:06 UTC

Are we talking about the Roman Catholic Church?

2019-07-12 20:05:59 UTC

we must bring back the militant orders of the church

2019-07-12 20:06:04 UTC

purge evil in all nations

2019-07-12 22:33:07 UTC

@Bogatyr Bogumir screw that

2019-07-12 22:33:18 UTC

We need to create militant orders to kick the church out of our nations

2019-07-12 22:33:26 UTC

Send them back to Rome

2019-07-12 22:34:33 UTC

@Riley thats kinda cringe

2019-07-12 22:34:41 UTC

One of my influences is a man named Plutarco Elรญas Calles, who was the president of Mexico from 1914 - 1920

2019-07-12 22:36:28 UTC

He made vaccination mandatory, expanded the education system, Repaired infrastructure damaged during the Mexican revolution, expanded transportation, and increased civil rights.

2019-07-12 22:36:41 UTC

Most importantly, he told the catholics to fuck off

2019-07-12 22:37:00 UTC

He greatly reduced the powers and influences of the Church in Mexico

2019-07-12 22:38:19 UTC

Okay

2019-07-12 22:38:28 UTC

So he was a pretty good guy

2019-07-12 22:39:02 UTC

I don't have a lot of faith in the Catholic church if we were to even allow them more power

2019-07-12 22:39:33 UTC

Honestly religion should eventually be eradicated

2019-07-12 22:39:38 UTC

we don't need it anymore

2019-07-12 22:39:41 UTC

Because they would still probably bend the knee to other powers

2019-07-12 22:39:53 UTC

Addie we both know that will never

2019-07-12 22:39:57 UTC

Happen

2019-07-12 22:40:02 UTC

unfortunately

2019-07-12 22:40:41 UTC

Religion or more specifically spirituality is an important need that humans have

2019-07-12 22:41:10 UTC

The same if not more important than physical mental and emotional wellbeing

2019-07-12 22:42:21 UTC

Its has been and will always be a necessity when developing a society

2019-07-12 22:42:42 UTC

And personally the best ones happen to be Christian

2019-07-12 22:46:53 UTC

yikes, why isn't addie muted

2019-07-12 22:47:14 UTC

?mute @Riley

2019-07-12 22:47:14 UTC

2019-07-12 22:47:16 UTC

And even in societies that have tried to repress religion, like china for example

2019-07-12 22:47:23 UTC

aha

2019-07-12 22:47:25 UTC

?mute @Riley 7d

nigga

2019-07-12 22:48:03 UTC

By 2030 they will have one of the largest christian populations in the world

2019-07-12 22:48:14 UTC

Dude i wanted to argue with them

2019-07-12 22:48:19 UTC

no

2019-07-12 22:48:29 UTC

his mute wore off for some reason

2019-07-12 22:48:37 UTC

so i put it back on

2019-07-12 22:49:15 UTC

Okay then

2019-07-13 02:26:49 UTC

<@&588707615643795456> Daily Question โœ

Most of the historic Christian nations have devolved to secularism, war and depravity, to greater or lesser extent.

Why is this the case?
(1) External forces are overpowering Christianity and leading to current conditions.
(2) This is the natural result of adhering to Christian societal values, i.e. This degradation is inevitable.
(3) Neither of the above.

2019-07-13 02:31:54 UTC

(1) i believe and its also that naturally empires and societys will eventually crumble because of inside disputes and a weak populace

2019-07-13 02:33:21 UTC

And often the 1st generation of a society will he completely different from any other down the line which means things like religion, values, and ideals with often be forgotten or tampered by outside forces

2019-07-13 02:33:46 UTC

Unless it is re taught

2019-07-13 02:34:46 UTC

Hard times create good people, good people create good times and good time create weak people, and weak people create bad times

2019-07-13 06:18:35 UTC

I think there are many reasons and even though many atheists- who are more of materialistic anti-Christians who want to look cool- argue with what the Catholic church has done ( which is a pseudo-argument agaisnt Christianity as a whole*) , I think there are many reasons why Christianity gets weaker and weaker. Human beings are as social, as sane creatures and a certain thing's success does depend on people's opinions of it even if based on false statements and unproper reasoning. Most people don't understand what religion and God are, even tho they are two totally different things. Most people don't understand how logic works. Most people don't know metaphysics. Most people don't know or understand epistemilogy. Thus atheism was pushed on young people by using their unproper reasonings, false knowledge, delusions and stuff and it was done for the goals of the left.

*I called a pseudo-argument against Christianity firstly because there are different forms of Christianity and the Orthodox church in my country has a history way different than the one of the Catholic one. Secondly, the Catholic church is ironically anti-Christ.

2019-07-13 15:47:03 UTC

Ironic isn't it

2019-07-14 02:02:03 UTC

<@&588707615643795456> Daily Question โœ
What is a biblical story or parable that you've always had a hard time with? One whose message isn't clear or that you didn't feel was morally or otherwise sound?

2019-07-14 04:48:03 UTC

Thatโ€™s a good question.

2019-07-14 15:16:59 UTC

Not a single one, but two that people like to cause conflict with

2019-07-14 15:17:42 UTC

The story about Jesus chasing the moneylenders out of the temple, and the one about the sermon on the mount

2019-07-14 18:27:09 UTC

genesis 1:1

2019-07-14 18:27:10 UTC

**Genesis 1:1 - New Revised Standard Version (NRSV)**

```Dust
Six Days of Creation and the Sabbath
<1> In the beginning when God created the heavens and the earth, ```
2019-07-14 18:27:15 UTC
and noahs ark
2019-07-14 21:36:51 UTC
@Riley explain
2019-07-14 22:37:04 UTC
@Veritas well they contradict reality
2019-07-14 22:37:49 UTC
According to our understanding of the universe, the beginning occurred around 14 billion years ago, and Earth was created around 4 billion years ago
2019-07-14 22:38:21 UTC
and the events described in the biblical account of creation occurred within the time span of millions of years, not six days
2019-07-14 22:38:33 UTC
and noahs are doesnt make any sense. I have a video that explains why
2019-07-14 22:39:17 UTC
This makes the bible *wrong*
2019-07-14 22:40:21 UTC
what I don't get is how the bible can be infallible if it has incorrect verses.
2019-07-15 00:33:32 UTC
"it's incorrect because i say so"
2019-07-15 00:34:05 UTC
well, at one point it was widely accepted that the earth was flat and it was on the backs of several tortoises standing on whales
2019-07-15 00:34:09 UTC
so what
2019-07-15 00:34:13 UTC
that doesn't make it true
2019-07-15 01:55:42 UTC
are you young earth? @Deleted User
2019-07-15 01:56:40 UTC
and its not incorrect because I say so, its incorrect because we have empirical evidence that supports the contrary
2019-07-15 03:18:54 UTC
isn't it like
2019-07-15 03:18:57 UTC
a theory
2019-07-15 03:19:01 UTC
and not a proven law
2019-07-15 03:19:24 UTC
bro in like 20 years we'll have a new theory
2019-07-15 03:19:38 UTC
because science is based on our observations, which will always be flawed
2019-07-15 03:29:38 UTC
@Deleted User what is?
2019-07-15 03:29:48 UTC
big bang?
2019-07-15 03:30:03 UTC
the current model
2019-07-15 03:30:10 UTC
big bang + evolution
2019-07-15 03:31:24 UTC
A scientific theory is an explanation for a process in nature that has undergone rigorous testing and is backed by observable evidence
2019-07-15 03:31:41 UTC
ok how is it observable
2019-07-15 03:31:45 UTC
which one
2019-07-15 03:31:46 UTC
if no one saw it
2019-07-15 03:31:53 UTC
big bang
2019-07-15 03:32:04 UTC
well we can't see the big bang, however we can observe its effects
2019-07-15 03:32:08 UTC
its like a crime scene
2019-07-15 03:32:26 UTC
yeah but so many assumptions were made about the effects
2019-07-15 03:32:47 UTC
it's just people trying to come up with an explanation without God
