Alright man @Snake

<:pepelaugh:544857300179877898>

2019-09-15 23:58:07 UTC

Where lmao? @Jeremy

2019-09-15 23:58:13 UTC

And you wonder why your countries have a problem with immigration.

2019-09-15 23:58:49 UTC

How do you enforce it when you have a shortage of both resources and institutional infrastructure required to defend your regional borders, while you waste what you have guarding your internal ones?

2019-09-15 23:59:18 UTC

It'd be like the US trying to resolve its illegal crossing issue by guarding the internal borders of all 50 States.

2019-09-15 23:59:37 UTC

What an inefficient waste of resources.

2019-09-15 23:59:50 UTC

Yep

2019-09-16 00:00:03 UTC

That's why a USE is the answer to immigration concerns.

2019-09-16 00:00:18 UTC

USE?

2019-09-16 00:00:37 UTC

United States of Europe.

2019-09-16 00:00:43 UTC

Ah, yes.

2019-09-16 00:00:47 UTC

<:pepelaugh:544857300179877898>

2019-09-16 00:00:53 UTC

You just can't escape that US influence.

2019-09-16 00:00:58 UTC

We did it first. ๐Ÿ˜‰

2019-09-16 00:01:05 UTC

I can dream. Let me have that <:PepeHands:543597836709658635>

2019-09-16 00:01:21 UTC

There's some internal immigration issues with the EU.

2019-09-16 00:01:33 UTC

Such as Poles headed over to the UK for work

2019-09-16 00:01:38 UTC

Because the wages are a lot higher

2019-09-16 00:01:39 UTC

BUT.

2019-09-16 00:01:45 UTC

That's due to wealth inequality

2019-09-16 00:01:46 UTC

I've heard about that.

2019-09-16 00:02:02 UTC

Fund better jobs in Poland and they won't be coming over taking ours.

2019-09-16 00:02:26 UTC

Basically:

2019-09-16 00:02:45 UTC

Eastern Europeans come West, for either that beautiful welfare state, or minimum wage jobs.

2019-09-16 00:02:53 UTC

Employers will have to become more competitive, which is what naturally occurs.

2019-09-16 00:03:22 UTC

You want labor competition.

2019-09-16 00:03:28 UTC

Because not everyone is in the Eurozone, IE only using the Euro, our currency (Pound / Euro) is worth more than their shit.

2019-09-16 00:03:53 UTC

Indeed; the Euro is the second most highly liquid currency in the world, second only to the USD.

2019-09-16 00:03:57 UTC

We have higher minimum wages as well.

2019-09-16 00:04:12 UTC

I 100% see why they do it.

2019-09-16 00:04:36 UTC

*Reaches over to lobby for eliminating minimum wages from all European countries*

2019-09-16 00:04:47 UTC

<:pepelaugh:544857300179877898>

2019-09-16 00:04:47 UTC

<:HYPERHARDW:368150766034223104>

2019-09-16 00:05:25 UTC

You'll have plenty of Italians to mop your shops, then.

2019-09-16 00:05:42 UTC

Lmao, no just Polish shops popping up everywhere

2019-09-16 00:06:32 UTC

**polski sklep**

2019-09-16 00:07:01 UTC

To be honest these issues will go away in 20 or so years

2019-09-16 00:07:16 UTC

As their wages and standard of living increase

2019-09-16 00:08:06 UTC

Indeed, Weez.

2019-09-16 00:08:17 UTC

You'll see uniformity in markets, including labor.

2019-09-16 00:08:17 UTC

@Tonight at 11 - DOOM Can you tell the Poles to stop coming, I don't need to see more **POLSKI SKLEP** everywhere

2019-09-16 00:08:22 UTC

Yep

2019-09-16 00:08:29 UTC

From that, stability

2019-09-16 00:08:29 UTC

Along with this, you require greater labor mobility.

2019-09-16 00:08:31 UTC

From that, unity.

2019-09-16 00:08:47 UTC

So, from this, you also need to encourage the vehicular travel industry. <:pepelaugh:544857300179877898>

2019-09-16 00:08:52 UTC

Much like the way we did in the U.S.

2019-09-16 00:08:58 UTC

Labor mobility is vital to that process.

2019-09-16 00:09:10 UTC

We don't *really* have much of that issue

2019-09-16 00:09:17 UTC

We have a VAST rail network

2019-09-16 00:09:25 UTC

It's VERY easy for labour to move around in Europe

2019-09-16 00:09:30 UTC

@Weez We get TESCOs everywhere, you get Polski Skleps, deal with it, Anglo.

2019-09-16 00:09:38 UTC

That's part of the problem. I'm talking about labor mobility beyond the rail.

2019-09-16 00:09:38 UTC

Hell, right now I could just get the train to Italy and start work there tomorrow.

2019-09-16 00:09:43 UTC

Ah beyond that

2019-09-16 00:10:00 UTC

I'm not sure if our car-ownership rates differ that much from America

2019-09-16 00:10:01 UTC

Rails aren't the most efficient means of encouraging labor mobility, as they're limited to where the rails are laid.

2019-09-16 00:10:06 UTC
2019-09-16 00:10:11 UTC

Well, it depends on the country.

2019-09-16 00:10:39 UTC

Very true

2019-09-16 00:10:49 UTC

The West is definitely at US rates

2019-09-16 00:11:13 UTC

Buy those, they're cheap and surprisingly good for what they are:
https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/61buv%2BnbadL._SX522_.jpg

2019-09-16 00:11:31 UTC

Next **POLSKI SKLEP** I go past, I'll head on in

2019-09-16 00:11:39 UTC

Got any other recommendations?

2019-09-16 00:11:46 UTC

think someone will buy a broke washing machine on ebay if you advertise it as broken/pressure switch problem

2019-09-16 00:12:00 UTC

Probably yeah

2019-09-16 00:12:06 UTC

its a ยฃ450 washing machine...

2019-09-16 00:12:18 UTC

so like... ยฃ200 seem reasonable?

2019-09-16 00:12:21 UTC

Not rly. Gherkins tend to be good quality in Polan, but I dunno what actual produce you get over there.

2019-09-16 00:12:30 UTC

>Check the warranty first @wacka

2019-09-16 00:12:37 UTC

cos I can buy a new one for 200

2019-09-16 00:12:39 UTC

They get like 5 years warranty standard

2019-09-16 00:12:44 UTC

its 6yrs old

2019-09-16 00:12:47 UTC

**God bless regulation**

2019-09-16 00:12:48 UTC

Ah

2019-09-16 00:13:02 UTC

Flog that bastard then

2019-09-16 00:13:13 UTC

I'd start at 175 personally..

2019-09-16 00:13:55 UTC

The Polish equivalent of Jaffa Cakes are also pretty good. The jelly is firmer and the chocolate less sweet.
https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/41Rv-WdMsyL._SY355_.jpg

2019-09-16 00:14:16 UTC

Is this stuff cheap?

2019-09-16 00:14:28 UTC

probably

2019-09-16 00:14:53 UTC

Maybe I'll find myself a decent Polish girl behind the counter

2019-09-16 00:15:01 UTC

like a Prince Polo bar is about 0.5 USD in Polan

2019-09-16 00:15:34 UTC

Idk what prices you'll get in Northern Pakistan

2019-09-16 00:15:48 UTC

I'm not in Northern Pakistan! ๐Ÿ˜

2019-09-16 00:16:07 UTC

Sure you're not *pat pat*

2019-09-16 00:16:18 UTC

<:PepeHands:543597836709658635>

2019-09-16 00:16:33 UTC

Can we please just take the Slav immigrants

2019-09-16 00:16:39 UTC

Over the "Asian" ones?

2019-09-16 00:16:48 UTC

At least the Slav ones don't smell.

2019-09-16 00:34:39 UTC

Ok so your plans of a united Europe is going to face challenges. Like nationalism, geographical issues, historical, popularity and economic issues.

Nationalism: is pretty obvious, people arenโ€™t necessarily willing to die for Europe, there isnโ€™t that strong bond between Europeans. Plus people want independent nation states for them and their people.

Economically: Britain, France and Germany pay for majority of functions. Mediterranean nations are in huge amounts of debt as well.

Historic issues: are like Yugoslavia and the USSR. These nations that came from these places hate each other, F.E. Croatia and Serbia. Or Greece and Macedonia.

Popularity: obviously it is a split issue if Europe should be united. The EU is blamed for the migrant crisis and the meme ban. But also broke some of its promises, like that it wouldnโ€™t be a independent country or wouldnโ€™t have a army. But now it does. The EUโ€™s optics donโ€™t look good, with guy V talking about how theyโ€™re a empire, and how this is the age of empires. Obviously to have a country, it needs popular sovereignty. Which the EU really doesnโ€™t have atm.

Geographically: Again, Poland worries about Russia b/c it borders it and is in the Northern European plane. Ireland doesnโ€™t have to worry about this and doesnโ€™t care. Like we agreed on earlier nations worry about themselves

2019-09-16 00:35:14 UTC

Conclusion: youโ€™re going to have to deal with bad elites, the shape of were itโ€™s at and issues different countries deal with. Youโ€™re going to have to deal with power imbalances but also the fact the EU isnโ€™t seen as legitimate by most.

2019-09-16 00:36:04 UTC

@wacka, what Weez said; I sell failed motherboards all the time, especially if I don't have the time to deal with them myself. Buyers looking for a good deal, by way of self-repair or resale, will be your likely market. There are times when manufacturers scout listings for refurbishing as well.

2019-09-16 00:36:37 UTC

Interestingly Nationalism is most prevalent during times of financial crisis, I believe as Europe becomes more prosperous then nationalism will subside.

2019-09-16 00:37:02 UTC

Interestingly, thereโ€™s been an increase in support for the EU since the Brexit referendum, across the bloc.

2019-09-16 00:37:02 UTC

tbh if i get 100 ... and they collect.. thats like paying for half of a brand new one

2019-09-16 00:37:15 UTC

That's the idea. ๐Ÿ˜‰
