Yes the Live Shows on Youtube when they ask for callers they are directed here then to the prescreening room to wait their turn

The Mods in the Prescreening are two very nice ladies that will gladly assist you with your set up prior to going live

That is assuming you wish to go live. I have been here for a year and a half but never gone on any of the call in shows

Takes a couple days and you will be moving from room to room like an old hand at this stuff

How do I watch the live stream and the same time as chat?

You can't watch livestream per say in the discord.

You can login to google or youtube and watch and chat

I'm on the app on my phone

So you have to have two divces

Let's make sure I understand you want to be in discord and watch live stream/chat

There is an option to listen to stream now it's on the Patriot Soapbox Youtube page and you can listen to the stream

I was watching on YouTube and people were chatting to the video so how do you do both at the same time

Otherwise I use a laptap and live chat on my phone or I watch on tv and live chat on my phone/laptop but that's just me

You should be able to watch youtube and live chat on your phone

i guess you would have to jump from youtube to discord - probably best to use two devices then

On the patriots soap box section it says u don't have permission to write a message

did you register your discord account? you would have to go to email and register your account

and then opt into the channels

Are you trying to set up your push to talk and headset or ear buds?

yes

Open your account

Click the voice and video option
Switch from Voice Activity to push to talk
Select the key that you will use for that purpose in my case I used the F4 key but that is your choice any key will work

You can test your set up using the "Mic test" in that same section

you will first need to rank up to the first level. which only takes about ten posts to any text channel,

How do you rank up

@tattered flag wondering how to rank up? all submissions to these text/image channels reward your account automatically with a small amount of 'points' these points eventually add up to the next rank which is then automatically applied to your account.

you need the first rank to be able to access the call in channels and go live on air. this only takes about ten postings give or take.

the rest of the ranks are just to spice up the server, they dont really unlock much. new colored name tags mostly,

@Deleted User I have the same problem keeping track of all of the different servers and what they are being used for. Might I suggest that you pick a few that you like and keep an eye on those few.. As more time passes you will be able to expand your options just as I have. Just a thought
