Even Pittsburgh is good
yeah but I said they couldn't pull more than 75
it's deep blue
Is it a suburb of Harrisburg or Philladelphia?
in contrast the Democrats got 16,170 (62.5%) in 2016 and the GOP got 9,702 (37.5%) in 2016
much of that 9,702 comes from people wanting to vote for Trump and voting for the local GOP candidate as an afterthought
this race is near Pittsburgh
Allegheny County
hey, we gotta get people out to the polls, that's it
apparently blacks are a decently large amount of the population
it's been Democrat for 50 years
Well Pittsburgh is a city
no reason to black pill over losing it
Itโs nice tho
a GOP voter in that area would be thinking "why bother"
This is Pittsburgh.
I say this a lot, but I think Trump can do something big Justice wise and pull things around
I may just be trying to whitepill myself
On a scale from 1-10 how much do you think the dems will be hurt by the Shutdown?
at least a 7
As in the scale or whether it's a good or bad thing for them?
Trump pulled off The Great Victory in 2016
1 is least, 10 is most
I wouldn't be surprised if he can pull off something similar this year
8
I would say an 8, because they rather defend Illegals than US citizens
Not just because of the shutdown itself, but because of what it'll lead to
It definitely will hurt them
Anyone here remember what happened in September when Pelosi/Schumer originally agreed to have a deal w/ Trump on DACA?
Yeah
I remember
remember, they didn't even concede on anything, they basically had a meeting and shook his hand, that's all
lol there were a bunch of dumbasses on /pol/ trying to black pill because of that
I know
We need justice for this girl
This illegal mother fucker needs to be killed
Itโs funny how the dems are protesting against Schumer and Pelosi
Now, this is what happens without concessions
They have politically backed themselves into a corner w/ the shutdown
They have no leg to stand on, nothing to force
They now know that if they force a shutdown, it's on them
So, now they're at Trump's mercy
They're agreeing to the wall
Not just that, they're agreeing to it as the base of the negotiations
That's not coming off the table
Imagine the fucking backlash that'll come from the open borders progressives because of that
I ride a Van to School
It will make this little Pelosi protest look like a joke
My driver is a Conservative, and we listen to Rush when Iโm going home
you're in high school?
I go to this Special School
Itโs because I have Aspergers Syndrome
@FLanon diastrous margin
+30 point swing for Democrats
so?
swing?
shift
as I said before, the GOP voters in this district probably figured it was hopeless because it's been D for half a century
wasn't it 73% I heard
2016 was an anomaly
The Georgia election was different
because so many of the GOP voters turned out for Turmp
yet it was still not enough to swing it
The Dems thought Ossoff could win a Area that was red for 30 years
from 58/39 to 73/26
YIKES
Spent a mil on it
And still lost
as I said, there's an explanation for that
when was the district 58/39
voters don't turn out when they think it's hopeless
2016
2016
because of Trump
closest thing I see is 62/37
as I said, they turned out to vote for TRUMP and simply voted for the other GOP candidates on their ballot as an afterthought
this time around, Trump isn't on the ballot
and the district has been Democrat since 1969 (almost 50 years)
massively Democrat, I'll add
it's not a swing race
hmm...
Considering the fact they lost $1,000,000,000 on The 2016 Presidental Election, $1,000,000 on the Georgia seat and also 4 other seats they lost, The money they spent on the governorships in Virginia and New Jersey that they won, and The Alabama election, where they spent 6 times as much in that along with calling Moore A pedo. The Dems are out of Cash.
the only reason we cared about this is IF the GOP won today, it would mean something VERY GOOD for us
The RNC should be pooling their cash for a massive attack in the general season
but still,
all that we learn from today that it's business as usual
the data from beforehand predicted this outcome
@Rhodesiaboo what state are you from
the average swing from before was the swing we saw today
I'm familiar with some schools that cater to those with Aspergers
he's from Ohio right
@FLanon Yes
I went to a boarding school in upstate NY
ah
how big is that school? I wonder how they can cram it full of people with aspergers and not just have you guys be in a regular school
went to a public school growing up
that shit redpills you better than anything else
I went to a Public School for elementary and most of Middle school
yeah, I went to public schools all my life too until the very end
now there's the shitholes
The school I go to is for kids with Autism or Special Needs
I wasn't red pilled by going to them (even though some of them were mostly black)
It has 25 rooms, each with 6 kids
I was still a leftist who excused their behavior
Some more, some less
what are the attitudes of the kids in your school towards politics
i don't know, some people get that click at different times
I wouldn't be surprised if many people are redpilled by going to schools that are mostly black
or at least have a siginificant enough portion of them
it's what I call the deep south effect
@Red Storm (in NYC) Most kids are Neutral since they donโt know much. My teachers are either Conservative, Liberal, or Donโt care about politics
the states with most of them have the most conservative whites
in public school it is liberal x100
pretty much
And the school consists mostly of White Boys, though there are some Black Boys and a few girls
American public schools are complete and utter dogshit
you're better off spending those years in prison
at least you'd be conditioned for the real world
@Red Storm (in NYC) Of course. My brother tells me that his school is very liberal.
it is a fucking prison
public schools are incredibly inefficient (even counterproductive!) at doing academics right
I'm worried we could see a backlash against Trump in Ohio,
I'm worried jobs are coming fast enough.
Especially to downtrodden cities like Canton, Toledo, Sandusky etc...
it's worse than a prison
at least prison is honest about what it does and it doesn't try to brainwash you
at least if you're in prison, you're clear about the fact that it's a prison, and you're forced to adapt to a harsh environment
and it's free
(for you)
public schools not only create a fake coddled environment, they still restrict your freedom
@FLanon Plus The food you get at prison is probably better than at schools
and they take an entire year to cover something that should be covered in a week
@Rhodesiaboo I heard of some serial killer making a snarky comment about that
Michelle Obama really fucked up School Lunches
he used to work in a school or something and he said the food in prison was better
it's day care and everyone's gotta suffer for it
@Rhodesiaboo I wonder if Michelle Obama's lunches affected Gen Z's political outlook
wouldn't be hard to imagine that
I donโt have a cafeteria at my school, rather we bring packed lunches
Though we do go to the Supermarket to buy food
Through the money our parents bring in
when the kids come, either religious or homeschool for them
I'm not sending them to that hellhole
My classroom consists of A Jehovahโs Witness who has the Craziest Family tree, A Black Kid who likes to draw, Another white kid who Usually is quiet, And an Atheist (not the fedora tipping kind) who goes here in the morning and goes to an academy at 9:30
tbh I think we should have the federal department of education abolished and just let the states handle it
what do you cover in class, generally?
aspies tend to excel very well in academics....if they're the type to care
My teacher is An Ex-hippie who is Vegetarian but she doesnโt force it down our throats and is Politically Neutral. We are taught English, Biology, U.S History, Geometry, And Thatโs it
only one teacher?
We also have 2 Aids
Itโs 1 teacher per classroom
public school teaches you the most worthless bullshit ever
And we stay in the classroom except for Stuff like Woodshop or shopping
shopping?
@FLanon so fucking true
We go shopping on Every other Monday
For food
For our lunches
Itโs really helpful
All the things I learned while going to public schools were learned because I took the initiative to learn them
helpful in what sense? To learn about nutrition?
Most useful things I learned I did independently researching them
Nutrition and how to spend money
See, that's something
I can't think of one useful thing I learned from the public school system
aside from the fact that I shouldn't trust the government and mainstream society
(and that's something I indirectly learned, not something they tried to teach me)
On Tuesdays and Thursdays We run a Breakfast Shop where we sell Bagels, Toast, Coffee, Breakfast Bars, Hot Chocolate, And Tea
mmmm, tasty
Most of the subjects are garbage
any plans for college @Rhodesiaboo ?
you don't need college in this day and age
(not that you ever really needed it)
@Red Storm (in NYC) Business seems interesting. If I do go to college Iโll go to Hillsdale
but even moreso with all the new opportunities in 2018 , you don't need college
I would steer clear of college if you don't need to
Unless you're getting full ride, I wouldn't debt-slave myself
hmm
western heritage
hmm
the thing is
It doesnโt accept Federal Funding either
I'd rather learn about that on my own
@Rhodesiaboo if you want to go into business, you're better off starting a business ASAP
I was raised In a conservative household with 2 Brothers.
entreprenuership and business is something you're not going to need college for
look up this guy named Alex Becker
Both brothers are younger
plenty of useful business stuff you can find online
this guy will teach you how to make money in business
Cool
better than college will
watch as many videos as you can
start watching his stuff now, it's entertaining
he's comedic (also a right winger)
I can really only think of one thing I learned in public school that was actually useful to life
by a teacher at least
I had a history teacher back in 8th grade
He decided to go off the course of teaching history for a bit and started going into economics, retirement, and saving money
supply/demand, investments, all that stuff
From Kindergarten To the middle of the Second grade I was at this Elementary school near me that was crap because the only guy who could help me was the Principal.
I transferred to this other school from the other half of Second grade to Fifth Grade that suited my needs but it was kind of hard
that was useful, and I enjoyed it
@Rhodesiaboo you probably have a lot of potential, it's just that it's crushed by how shitty the public school system is
From sixth to the middle of Seventh Grade I was at this retarded Middle School
@FLanon that sounds pretty great
did most of your class understand it
Sixth Grade was fine, but Seventh was awful
middle school in general is awful
understood, maybe, cared, no.
I was kept in the room I started out in, and got suspended a lot
what part of Florida are you in again?
Around Tampa Bay
@Rhodesiaboo what got you suspended a lot?
I once said I tried to kill myself, and had to see a therapist
@FLanon did you hear about the serial killer?
It was a couple weeks back, yeah
@Rhodesiaboo sorry to hear that, I suffered through suicidal depression as a teen too
@Red Storm (in NYC) I just didnโt like the way they were teaching.
that serial killer went to St. John's University
which is a 40 minute walk away from my apartment
it's a small world
Eventually they showed me this private school for kids like me, and Iโve stayed there since
Iโm a lot calmer, and happier
@Rhodesiaboo are you on meds?
@Red Storm (in NYC) No, i was never on any meds
btw, what made you depressed? Was it the environment of the school you were in?
I wouldn't be surprised if it was
that's why I think public schools are not only useless, they're harmful
@Red Storm (in NYC) Yeah, it was very shitty. I was stuck with this kid who had big meltdowns because he couldnโt speak.
They really they should focus on stuff like teaching fiscal responsibility, entrepreneurship, values, and normal empirical stuff like mathematics.
And I only left the room when lunch arrived
btw life will get MUCH better once you're done with high school
you're what...16?
15
Literacy is okay, but the way English classes have gone in the US is downhill.
what is the attitude of your peers towards politics
is the Gen Zyklon meme real
They all are politically neutral
From what I gather there seems to be a lot more division
Most of them donโt care about politics
if not outright apathy
@FLanon I honestly think all you need to do is teach a kid how to read, and let their natural curiosity make them great readers
Exactly
the thing is, the public school system conditions them to hate reading
which leads to most of the population being uncultured retards
We just need to teach them how to read, and that's it
