if he's campaigning that means he sees this and is taking action

2018-01-18 23:07:32 UTC

remember, these people want us to lose

2018-01-18 23:07:37 UTC

I'd be panicking too if I was the President and my party was losing 35 seats since I took office

2018-01-18 23:07:57 UTC

Trump's best when he's live

2018-01-18 23:07:58 UTC

net loss of 31

2018-01-18 23:08:17 UTC

I wouldn't call it 'panic'

2018-01-18 23:08:32 UTC

I would call it a measured response born out of appropriate concern

2018-01-18 23:08:32 UTC

'caution'

2018-01-18 23:08:46 UTC

new thread

2018-01-18 23:08:49 UTC

The tweets are ok and all, but at a rally it's full of energy, he gets people going

2018-01-18 23:08:56 UTC

the governor of Wisconsin was panicked that's for sure

2018-01-18 23:09:50 UTC

I 100% think that if Trump made a live appearance at VA during Gillespie or AL during Moore, they most certainly would have won instead of putting out some tweet saying "hey guys vote"

2018-01-18 23:10:05 UTC

That's how he gets turnout

2018-01-18 23:10:22 UTC

We need Trump to be an activist for his party this year, an asset.

2018-01-18 23:10:26 UTC

Gillespie actually rejected an offer by Trump to rally for him

2018-01-18 23:10:56 UTC

Still, the principle stands

2018-01-18 23:11:10 UTC

That was certainly a stupid move to make

2018-01-18 23:11:22 UTC

You need all the awareness you can get

2018-01-18 23:11:24 UTC

good thing Trump rallied too, his voters are concentrated in that district

2018-01-18 23:11:57 UTC

small, white towns everywhere

2018-01-18 23:12:19 UTC

btw guys, have the discussion in the thread so that it bumps it and keeps it from getting slid

2018-01-18 23:12:34 UTC

He needs to pull all the rallies possible

2018-01-18 23:12:46 UTC

He's got to be able to get 2016 levels

2018-01-18 23:13:38 UTC

Here's my prediction: GOP wins, but because of massive Dem fundraising they do better than normal, which leads to them saying "durr here's further proof of le blue wave"

2018-01-18 23:14:09 UTC

(that's what happened for all the other special House elections. GOP wins, but Democrats do better than usual because of massive amounts of $ and media attention)

2018-01-18 23:14:13 UTC

I have no clue what the RNC is planning

2018-01-18 23:14:18 UTC

that's the fucking thing

2018-01-18 23:14:37 UTC

I can picture a blue wave happening if the RNC continues to sit on their ass

2018-01-18 23:14:38 UTC

There's the possibility they're lazy retards

2018-01-18 23:14:42 UTC

Paul Ryan has earned 44 million dollars this year in donations

2018-01-18 23:14:48 UTC

he better spend in on the race

2018-01-18 23:15:10 UTC

Is it his to spend or the party's to spend

2018-01-18 23:15:14 UTC

@FLanon there's also the huge possibility that because they're establishment politicians, they'd rather let Democrats win than have Trump win

2018-01-18 23:15:25 UTC

he can direct it to the RNC

2018-01-18 23:15:26 UTC

of course

2018-01-18 23:15:36 UTC

or spend it on his own campaign

2018-01-18 23:15:47 UTC

they'd rather be the minority party than be the majority party with responsibilities

2018-01-18 23:15:50 UTC

the second one probably

2018-01-18 23:15:57 UTC

when they're the minority party, they also will be called racist less often

2018-01-18 23:16:09 UTC

all they can do is block

2018-01-18 23:16:20 UTC

ffs we need good offense

2018-01-18 23:17:05 UTC

The main hope I have for this year isn't in the party itself to campaign well, but for Trump to do something massive and/or campaign with a ton of energy

2018-01-18 23:17:40 UTC

I think I get the RNC's strategy

2018-01-18 23:17:48 UTC

they're going for a full-scale offensive in the Senate

2018-01-18 23:17:58 UTC

save money, spend it on the US elections

2018-01-18 23:18:01 UTC

I recognize it

2018-01-18 23:18:03 UTC

but a hunkered down defense in the House

2018-01-18 23:18:17 UTC

I think it's a terrible idea

2018-01-18 23:18:29 UTC

money is good, but guerilla campaigning is better

2018-01-18 23:18:46 UTC

this isn't a contest of "whoever racks up the most shekels wins"

2018-01-18 23:19:08 UTC

remember Clinton always

2018-01-18 23:19:21 UTC

Oof, Clinton blew 1.2 billion

2018-01-18 23:19:57 UTC

that's why we need a good offensive on all fronts and not just have a lot of money, but use what we have effectively.

2018-01-18 23:20:30 UTC

Trump > RNC when it comes to election strategy

2018-01-18 23:20:39 UTC

he beat out their 16 best people

2018-01-18 23:20:47 UTC

that has to count for something

2018-01-18 23:22:06 UTC

yeah

2018-01-18 23:22:18 UTC

you'd think that GOP candidates would learn from Trump when it comes to winning

2018-01-18 23:22:27 UTC

but they all use the same tired strategies

2018-01-18 23:22:48 UTC

I thought Moore was doing ok because his Twitter responses were decent, but then again he probably wasn't in charge of his Twitter

2018-01-18 23:22:49 UTC

I wish Gingrich had a larger role in all of this

2018-01-18 23:23:00 UTC

Gingrich isn't even busy with anything

2018-01-18 23:23:03 UTC

Trump should hire him

2018-01-18 23:23:11 UTC

it sounds like the kind of savvy play he'd make

2018-01-18 23:23:13 UTC

Twitter doesn't win elections, Gillespie and Moore taught me that

2018-01-18 23:24:00 UTC

He has the numbers to show for it. He pulled off '94 and got the fucking speaker unseated

2018-01-18 23:24:44 UTC

He knows how to run a massive campaign, that's it.

2018-01-18 23:25:14 UTC

Ryan is fucking clueless, he rode the wave in the late '90s and sat on his ass while he got the speaker position

2018-01-18 23:30:36 UTC

Gingrich was brilliant,

2018-01-18 23:30:50 UTC

the contract was key

2018-01-18 23:35:01 UTC

Trump needs good advisors for the midterms, definitely. A team.

2018-01-18 23:38:10 UTC

The first:
#NoWhiteDemocrats
Step 1. Set up sockpuppet black Twitter accounts
Step 2. Screech at all liberals who are white and moderates who are white, attack whites running for congress and keeping their seat in Congress. Try to turn the Dem party into the 'POC Party'. Attack Pelosi, etc.
3. When people are questioning whether to stay, berate them even more to get them to 'get out of your party white debils'.
That's one technique.
Another I thought of is #RaiseOurTaxes
Step 1: More sockpuppets
Step 2: Pose as Democrat voters and attempt to make undoing the Trump tax cuts as a major part of the Democratic program for the midterms
Step 3: Find random moderates, and ask them if they saved anything in taxes. (Use MaximLotts Tax Calculator)
Step 4: If they did (90-95%), berate them, call them 'bourgeois fucks', 'rich cunts' and the such, try to alienate them as much as humanly possible.

2018-01-18 23:38:16 UTC

what do you guys think of this idea

2018-01-18 23:38:28 UTC

that was my post

2018-01-18 23:38:37 UTC

ha, I suspected it was

2018-01-18 23:39:41 UTC

It's very simple, people are sensitive.

2018-01-18 23:39:54 UTC

They don't like being yelled at, they hold grudges.

2018-01-18 23:40:46 UTC

Some people may get the idea that whites aren't welcome anymore in the Dem party, and will simply not vote, or vote for the opposite party

2018-01-18 23:41:02 UTC

Also, no one likes having their taxes raised

2018-01-18 23:41:55 UTC

I got that idea in particular from seeing a screencap of a reddit post which suggested that 'the dems run on raising taxes' on the night it was passed, which was completely retarded but inspiring

2018-01-18 23:43:30 UTC

They're becoming pretty popular now, so attempting to repeal them while all this news of new job growth and a lot of middle class people saving on taxes can only hurt Dems

2018-01-18 23:50:29 UTC

someone bump the thread

2018-01-18 23:55:08 UTC

2018-01-18 23:55:27 UTC

what up

2018-01-19 00:06:42 UTC

Hello

2018-01-19 00:35:50 UTC

oh shit

2018-01-19 00:35:54 UTC

someone bump the thread

2018-01-19 00:36:03 UTC

lol shit, too late

2018-01-19 00:36:11 UTC

I might make a new one before tonight ends

2018-01-19 00:36:12 UTC

hmm

2018-01-19 01:51:35 UTC

shill this, this will hurt Dems badly in the coming midterms

THEYRE FIGHTING BACK

2018-01-19 12:27:29 UTC

yep, that's why I've been saying it's too early to come to a definite conclusion. So much shit like this can happen between now and November

2018-01-19 19:45:09 UTC

BREAKING: Federal prosecutors have notified the court that they intend to retry Sen. Robert Menendez on bribery and corruption charges and have requested the earliest possible retrial date.

2018-01-19 19:45:19 UTC

NEW JERSEY SENATE SEAT IN PLAY

2018-01-19 19:45:24 UTC

hell yeah

2018-01-19 19:45:28 UTC

the thing is...it's still New Jersey

2018-01-19 19:45:39 UTC

I think Chris Christie trashed the reputation of the GOP there

2018-01-19 19:46:05 UTC

assuming Menendez resigns, the replacement Dem still has an relatively easy battle
