All modern cpus (modern as in the last decade) have hyperthreading, not just i7. And parked cores has nothing to do with hyperthreading

Here's the spec sheet for an i3... You can see that yes, it does have hyperthreading. As does pretty much every cpu from the last decade

intelligence and skill set has nothing to do with it, they were taught that as a child and had no reason to break from the programming
