It's different
oh
HARPP is a conspiracy i believe
idk
it hasn't been 100% proven
I thought it was something else @รtos
im not sure
it's similar
My apologizes
To some people itโs something else
but cloud seeding is admitted by governments and other countries.
yeah
To me itโs things like that and the more advanced things likely in development.
and its good
just like GMO
and vaccine stuff
GMOโs are weird
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8GQAXxmiSdk "Potassium chloride, sodium chloride, magnesium, and other materials.... it's essentially salt"
nah i like them
That is a video on the UAE using cloud seeding
Alright, @Credibly Charted has been warned for '**Bad word usage**'.
They arenโt inherently bad
cool
yeah they arent
Oh great
idk why people like bio so much
Genetic modification shouldnt be a bad thing
i dont even know what would be bad about it
It should be "another tool in our toolbox"
I don't think we should be relying on it 100% when we don't even understand genetics 100%.
The only issue with GMOs is that the method with which the genes are modified is a virus.
We are literally just testing through trial and error.
If the virus mutates we donโt know what happens.
it helps food grow faster and helps it be stronger against diseases
Yes, but we are affected by that
Did you know that most things have GMOs?
in a negative way.
Rather shocking but it is true
yeah
Everything has it's risks, right?
yeah
plus GMO/starving
kinda obvious
Almost everything is GMO already.
yeah
The average dog is a GMO, lmao
You still have to look at the bigger picture
?>
the issue with long-term use, and use that we don't understand could lead to world-wide epidemics.
Potentially.
GMO'S?
Crops in general. GMO or not, diseases can run rampant.
hold on
Begs the question, if we don't understand it 100%.... then you don't know if what you're doing is beneficial 100% or not.
It has pros and cons
Plus the fact it is like a virus, that is over-rides local crops as well. Whether people consent or not through pollination.
Genetic engineers must first choose what gene they wish to insert, modify or delete. The gene must then be isolated and incorporated, along with other genetic elements, into a suitable vector. This vector is then used to insert the gene into the host organism, creating the GMO.
Begs the question of does it violate someone's rights?
That's like me walking by your farm and throwing my seeds on your field essentially.
Is that just?
Early targeting systems relied on meganucleases and zinc finger nucleases. Since 2009 more accurate and easier systems to implement have been developed. Transcription activator-like effector nucleases (TALENs) and the Cas9-guideRNA system (adapted from CRISPR) are the two most commonly used. They may potentially be useful in gene therapy and other procedures that require accurate or high through put targeting.
thats better
You don't know 100% what is in that see, or what it will do to your crop.
well
you kind of do
Kind of
if you know how to read genetics
No
and experiment long enough
You obviously don't know genetics then
what?
I can link you a ted talk if you're interested
genetics is a code we cant read yet
Genetics isn't simple ABC.
yes it isnt
It is a code we can read, but....
i never said it was
what we've realized
is that "code" that should per say be hypothetically X amount of pages
every gene you modify can trigger another outcome
turns out to be hidden in thousands of more pages of nonsense
We can read it. We donโt always know what weโre writing, though.
well it still is code
that is the analogy to best explain.
Dude.
my statement is correct
because it is code
I'll recommend the book i'm reading now
if you genuinely want to learn
where is my mistake?
Genome: The autobiography of species in 23 chapters Matt Riddley
It's much more complicated than you realize that's all.
where is my mistake though
i realize how complicated it is
I tried to explain, but it's much more than what could be said in one sentence.
well dont
i have read about it
please stop degrading me though
I'm not oof
You asked for the evidence
I provided
It's much more complicated than you realize that's all.
come on
you said i was wrong
and i gave you the citations
then you're still telling me i'm the one that's wrong.
i never said anything wrong
im not
and when I say it's more complicated, you say i'm the one degrading. okay
you are telling me to get educated
Guys, letโs be honest, none of us are experts on this. Itโs just an opinion.
You asked for my evidence bro
Exactly
i didnt
check the logs
i was talking
That's why i'm saying I can't explain it in one sentence and provided you sources that I haven't even completely finished reading yet.
i dont need explaining though ;-;
So am I
You asked, and you received.
i didnt ask though
Okay
thats the prob
Then move on?
^
It's a misunderstanding then
dont be like that man
yes it is
Why donโt we just continue the discussion?
yeah
id like to
one sec, i have to finish this government paperwork
Semantics and misunderstandings shouldnโt lock us down forever.
ok
man come on
XD
yeah it shouldnt
i never said i was an expert but i didnt say anything wrong
idk how this even came up
Same here
So stop perpetuating pls โค
im not
;-;
im ready to move on
so
What topic are you passionate about?
physics
Pls englighten me, cause that's something I don't look into.
Do you focus on space stuff?
that and quantum mechanics
<:kitty1:507996065115406352>
also theory of relativity is a something i worked on for quite a while
I know lots about those stuff
I actually just a book from my university's library that breaks down the theories for me
*Oh, yeah?*
cool
so i guess i can say i'm curious
yay
but haven't gotten the change to read over it yet
*What does c equal in Einsteinโs equation of relativity?*
I bet that will stump you
black holes are an extremly nice topic
nope
speed of light
Yeeeeees
299 792 458 m/s
What about blackholes do you like most?
yay!
**HOLY SHEEEEIT, U RITE**
i actually had to memorize that
it sucks ;-;
I donโt specialize in any of that, Kek.
Iโm a humble scrub
Just messing with you, XD
nah
you being here and talking about this stuff makes you smarter than most people
Probably not
I prefer just honest talk
This is actually quite enjoyable
Pure trolling and hardcore arguments get old after a while.
I cans safely say people who have a burning passion for learning are always the ones that get somewhere within life
oh
;-;
so you dont wanna talk?
What?
No, I do want to talk, lol
I said I enjoyed this kind of thing
idk you said hard arguments get old so i got worried
I meant like conflict arguments
also Tabby are you still alive?
oh
Yes
Sorry
yeah
yay
Stupid paperwork to cross borders oof
Department of Homeland Security even oof
;3;
where are you going?
USA
It's for my husband to cross from Canada
All over some stupid shenanigans
hmm
i live in canada
:D
I moved here from england
Thatโs unique paperwork.
I'm from the USA
cool
if you come into VC aetos i'll tell you real quick what it's for
i wanna join
;-;
come hither
Sure, Iโll go into VC
Who knows if Iโll talk.
i just don't wanna put my life on blast
on chat
Kind of tired.
yup
yeah XD
It's really a petty thing
i have bad social anxiety
you don't need to hop in VC even
I already expect some kind of government job the second DoHS is mentioned.
not even a big deal
just know that
No
ill listen
Over an empy bag in a car
instead
hello
Ah, gotcha.
im sorry that i cant talk
Donโt worry about it
wow
yeah
we are also doing that stuff
that sucks
yeah we are doing the same thing too
;-;
yeah things really arent extremly good here either
i never realized how much drugs were an issue
until i came to vancouver
hmmm
yup
XD
*When all your texts are responses to a VC, so you look like youโre talking to someone who got server banned.*
XD
._.
London isnt good but this is the kinda the stupid stuff we deal with too. The border control here is really mental
