well, there's 3 demo for this game, the first one came out like 2y ago, it's called "episode duscae", looks a lot like the final game but the gameplay is nothing like it

duscae is limited to people who bought FF type-0

2nd is platinum demo, it's a technical demo that came out in march, it's not a part of the game, the gameplay featured is closer to the final game but at the same time it evolved a fair bit since then, it's free on PSN / XB store

and the last one is called judgement disc, it's basically the begining of the game, but it's limited to japanese region (PSN / XB store)
