Infinity War is our springboard into cosmic-tier heavyweights
oh, Ego.
Ego existed.
He counts.
yep
I'm so happy Ego got into the films.
As the MCU is set up, just throwing in powers as tough as teh SS and warlock would be dumb.
When you hear the name "Ego is in a movie" The average person has no idea what that really means
But someone in the know, just snaps their head around
Did anybody else think Black Widow was Agent 13 when she made her intro in Infinity War?
i can see what you mean there canuck
"THEY WHAT?"
"HOW?"
and you are right it hasnt got there yet
"HOW THE FUCK IS EGO IN A FILM"
pretty much need the FF
and galactus to happen
before hand
Like imagine
Fantastic Four, the group, suck.
but capt marvel will work for the intro also
The properties associated to them?
Amazing.
up until Infinity War, who's the most powerful thing we've seen?
IMO, Ego.
ya
agreed
Doom, Galactus, Surfer. These things are GREAT. We need THOSE.
But the Fantastic Four are boresville.
And he was basically constrained to his own surface in terms of godliness.
but the fact that ego is out there
They're DATED.
means there is more
If we suddenly go from those power levels and suddenly go to
THE POWER COSMIC
ADAM WARLOCK
E T E R N I T Y
no one really knew what ego was up to
it'd be too much fo a jolt
oH, DORMAMMU
so one one paid him much mind
he's godly too
oh ya
i change that
But yeah
you see my point right?
dormammu is more powerful
I'll tell you guys what I want.
if they suddenly dumped these powerhouses it'd be a mess
forgot that
What about the Elders?
it'd render the earth avengers obsolete in their own movie
I want a proper Spider-Man and Venom grudgingly team-up and fight Carange film.
oh what, collector and grandmaster?
the cut off the elders balls too soon
they're just immortal here
THey don't seem to be as superpowerful as the comics
no real powers
just some guys that dont die
Hoping we see the running one someday
you know the one I mean right
Hela wasn't that powerful in the comics, was she?
nah hela was just a badass
She wasn't one-woman-apocalypse powerful
i dont remember her doing too much in general, she usually stayed in hel from what i remember
Ye
Here's another thing
in the Infinity Gauntlet comic it's *all about* the cosmic guys
ya
All the cosmic guys do in that comic
the avengers, x-men, and the F4 get fucking n-selled
Is stand in a line
not so much the agenters
he turns wolverine's skeleton to rubber
And pummel Thanos with different attacks
he just wipes them all out
And Thanos eventually drives them all back.
That's all the cosmic guys do in Infinity Gauntlet.
which happens in a way with avengers
Depowering the existing characters and not including the gods was a good call, IMO
They aren't THAT involved aside from that.
so
Again, if you include Adam Warlock here he just feels too powerful in Infinity war
The funniest part of Infinity Gauntlet, is the reason that leads to Thanos losing it.
its still not really going in the wrong direction
Vision is pretty OP
which is why they impaired him as fast as possible
the next movie could bring in the cosmic gods
Thanos becomes the universe itself. But what that ultimately means, is that the GAUNTLET IS BACK ON HIS PHYSICAL BODY, WHICH IS NOW GONE.
GOTG2 hinted at Eternity
And Nebula is closest to it.
if you caught it
So Nebula puts on the gauntlet, and then SHE fights all the cosmic beings. lol
When Ego forced Quill to see things "his way", Peter said he "Saw eternity"
which could mean the deity
ya
So there's precedent
i agree
I disagree with Tyler!
easy line to draw
