Its a good expansion and the conversation would get there eventually
It's ok just slow up and let some other people talk @Dusty Morgan
Because what you were talking about is the same thing that tmg brought up: free will to help vs being required to help
I have a complete understanding why the free stuff idea fails. T_T
I tend to go further than I need to when explaining.
Theres no level of explanation thats uncessary
but there does need to be a base for the further elaboration
Okay.
Well I used to be a socialist in thinking, then real life hit me hard.
I think a lot of the issue TMG is that people assume that people will always work if they know the system takes care of them
guys
imagine
๐ ฑ
you know?
have you ever had a dream where
you wa
you wanted to
you go wanted
Yeah people will not work because there isn't a reason too.
Canuck are you high
sorry thats the wrong question
How high are you? @King Canuck
I'm 6'2"
Lmao.... this title really cracks me up. No need to read article, just wanted to show you the title.
@Blackhawk342 shouldn't people work to better there lives or the lives of the family?
WAit the title changed?
@Uksio jelly I'm 3'2"
They are working to better the lives of their family because their family is taken care of by the system
Feel the BERN!
hi
i'm hi
That title is perfect. XD
```automation likely will not be applied to every industry in the market, i think its kinda doom saying to assume robots are gonna take ALL of the jobs, yes some will go but human employment will still occur in other areas``` There are already less living wage jobs to go around, than working-age adults.
It's already **shit.**
I think automation should be saved for only the most dangerous jobs.
No way.
@Blackhawk342 are you adding the economy in that "system"?
It's morally ridiculous not to automate everything you can.
Or you're inflicting unnecessary cruelty on people.
But on the other side of that
Is this STUNNING lack of realism.
About what this does.
@tmg copper No im limiting it to healthcare. By paying into the system they help not only their families but the families of their fellow citizens. They know they can expect the same in return so they would be motivated to contribute to it.
And if people were just more realistic about what was actually happening as a result of this, the better off we'd be.
Hey quick question, do you guys watch Game Theorist?
Love that youtube channel.
Never heard of it, but im familiar with the political version of game theory
Love the way he puts together his videos.
Agh.
That channel.
Ruiner of your childhood!
He doesn't do politics, thankfully, can turn my head off and enjoy his videos.
Good, there arent many channels like that these days
He might take a few playful jabs at politicians, but he is a great youtuber.
but thats just a theory
A GAME THEORY!
cringe intensifies
Why you hate it?
It is just for entertainment.
dont hate it just find it cringy
I'm so sick of 'theory' content.
Nux taku did a good video on his anime videos @Dusty Morgan, I just think he's outta content and scratching that bottom barrel
WAS SYNDROME ACTUALLY THE HERO?!!?!?
Been that way for a while
Once a blue moon, that sorta content is hilarious.
But it's not something you can run your channel on
That is where he is at best. He is there for cringe factor too.
>.>
Mandatory reminder that he literally gave the pope a copy of undertale in person
^
I am surprised he manage to do that.
I wonder if Pope played it.
probably not
dudes like 70
Obama played the Witcher 3
If he played it... I would find that fascinating. XD
The freaking pope playing video games.
Are we sure that it wasn't the little girl that told the pope about immigration that gave him that?<:TimThink:482277772497125378> <:TimThink:482277772497125378> <:TimThink:482277772497125378>
Thank god i wasnt a nerd in the 90s
that wouldve sucked hardcore
Now everyone from your classmates to the president plays games
@Blackhawk342 I guess that explains why people are so violent/s
Whoa... powerful @tmg copper
Doesn't look to me like In-N-Out donating to republicans affected their business much at all, lines are still out the drive-thru here <:TimThink:482277772497125378>
same thing happened wit Chick Fil'a
everyone still goes there
Yeah, didn't change the taste of their food lol
its like the busiest fast food joint in my area
its funny how In-N-Out donates to both
selective outrage
Donating to both parties is just the cost of doing business in America.
basically
although Rand Pauls tweet of him eating at one was funny
If In-N-Out donated 10x more to Dems it's because it does so much business in Cali.
