Fame*

2018-10-17 01:11:08 UTC

Is youtube down?

2018-10-17 01:11:16 UTC

Everyone goes to Zumiez

2018-10-17 01:11:16 UTC

@Deleted User you should introduce the business owner to Amazon FBA and Faceboom marketing. Charge them $1,000+ per month to run that side of the business, maybe a percentage of the ownership as well.

2018-10-17 01:11:33 UTC

the whole skate apparel and equipment industry has little or no margin....so if you do have a shop....you have gotta have a location, a good rep (someone quasi famous running it) or be Zumnis or a Vans shop. The indy shops are dying fast

2018-10-17 01:12:00 UTC

I am getting a 500 on my phone and desktop but I am on 2 separate connections.

2018-10-17 01:12:04 UTC

Seems to be down for me.

2018-10-17 01:12:09 UTC

Wait really?

2018-10-17 01:12:09 UTC

@machtynnvm it is down

2018-10-17 01:12:19 UTC

The reckoning is upon us.

2018-10-17 01:12:36 UTC

The feminists got to them

2018-10-17 01:12:50 UTC

They are getting backstabbed

2018-10-17 01:12:57 UTC

so anyway......stoner skater shop owner is "mad" at me calling me "corporate" for telling him the truth.....I said "at this rate you're going to be broke in about six months"

2018-10-17 01:12:59 UTC

Maybe they traced all MGTOW IPs and blocked them.

2018-10-17 01:13:29 UTC

Hopefully not

2018-10-17 01:13:33 UTC

@Deleted User people hate hearing bad news, especially when they were anticipating it.

2018-10-17 01:13:51 UTC

Yeah truth hurts

2018-10-17 01:14:05 UTC

@Deleted User Let them. You got paid for an audit. You did it. Now it's their problem unless they want your help.

2018-10-17 01:14:19 UTC

I've never actually seen a 500 on youtube before.. this isn't cool.

2018-10-17 01:14:51 UTC

My intial price was 2,000.00 to put his books in line, call the creditors, buy some time......he's now "refusing" to pay me because I didn't fix the problem. This is also why his shop is going under. He has zero business, running a business

2018-10-17 01:15:51 UTC

So you're trying to do what exactly of you don't mind telling me?

2018-10-17 01:15:55 UTC

so I DO have a signed contracty, I'll give him 30 days........he doesn't pay up, will begin the process of going to court

2018-10-17 01:16:37 UTC

You should be having people pay you up front.

2018-10-17 01:16:46 UTC

I was a skater when he wasn't even a twinklw in his daddy's pants

2018-10-17 01:17:13 UTC

Daddy's boy I see

2018-10-17 01:17:15 UTC

They can order your services from your website with a PayPal order.

2018-10-17 01:17:27 UTC

Most business's don't run like that. You pay partial, or they contract, and after the service is rendered, they pay when you invoice them

2018-10-17 01:17:58 UTC

@Deleted User Hit him with the lawsuit if he doesn't pay for services rendered.

2018-10-17 01:18:23 UTC

I had to have an oeverview as well, because my fees are different for every situation, I just don't have A plan, B plan or C plan

2018-10-17 01:18:53 UTC

Some of my folks do pay right when I finish, most say "can you send me the bill?"

2018-10-17 01:19:06 UTC

Most pay within 30 days

2018-10-17 01:20:22 UTC

How many hours of work for 2k?

2018-10-17 01:20:30 UTC

ANyway....I don't like being yelled at by a punk 30 year old whiner. Entitled jerk. I of course, being the "adult" had to sit there and listen to him

2018-10-17 01:20:36 UTC

About 5

2018-10-17 01:20:43 UTC

hours

2018-10-17 01:20:51 UTC

Damn son, that's a nice hourly rate.

2018-10-17 01:21:05 UTC

Not bad

2018-10-17 01:21:15 UTC

$400/hr is "not bad?"

2018-10-17 01:21:22 UTC

I wish I made $400/hr ๐Ÿ˜„

2018-10-17 01:21:24 UTC

I'm joking lol

2018-10-17 01:21:32 UTC

I'm just being that cunt

2018-10-17 01:21:34 UTC

I'm under $50/hr still ๐Ÿ˜ฆ

2018-10-17 01:21:50 UTC

I need to become an accountant apparently.

2018-10-17 01:21:52 UTC

I'm on 17$ an hour

2018-10-17 01:22:25 UTC

Welp I literally only have twitch to watch now, lol.

2018-10-17 01:22:32 UTC

Now, if I am just doing a weekly payroll.......takes me an hour, and IF we have a good working realtionship, and you're giving me steady work every few weeks???? Pay me 50.00.......75.00

2018-10-17 01:22:56 UTC

Wow, that's amazing.

2018-10-17 01:23:07 UTC

Did you move out of IT because accounting is way better pay?

2018-10-17 01:23:17 UTC

No. I wanted steady work

2018-10-17 01:23:32 UTC

Do you have to deal with people bitching and not wanting to pay full price often?

2018-10-17 01:23:37 UTC

someone has ALWAYS got to count the money ALWAYS

2018-10-17 01:24:00 UTC

sometimes. I don't work for a firm or company, I'm freelance....so I do get that a bit more

2018-10-17 01:24:14 UTC

What does the future look like with software solutions ramping up?

2018-10-17 01:24:17 UTC

@Deleted User Wait. You didn't have steady work in IT? It's a normal boring 9-5 whereas you're making bank as an accountant. Now are you CPA or have any specific licenses?

2018-10-17 01:24:30 UTC

I am CPA

2018-10-17 01:24:32 UTC

I won't hate that shit

2018-10-17 01:24:35 UTC

@MufflePuff For accounting?

2018-10-17 01:24:41 UTC

Yeah

2018-10-17 01:24:44 UTC

@Deleted User Ah! That is why you can command $400+/hr

2018-10-17 01:25:11 UTC

Now.....when I was at IBM, I was pulling about 90K a year right before I retired

2018-10-17 01:25:14 UTC

@MufflePuff Honestly, I think software can automate most of what @Deleted User does but you'll always WANT a human to double check it. You disagree @Deleted User?

2018-10-17 01:25:25 UTC

@Deleted User Yeah, that sounds about right in tech.

2018-10-17 01:25:33 UTC

I'll be getting 90k in 1-2 years.

2018-10-17 01:25:44 UTC

Seems like if it's a small business they can use software, but if the business is large, they'd have in-house accountants.

2018-10-17 01:25:46 UTC

But accounting would be 150+k with your rate ๐Ÿ˜„

2018-10-17 01:26:02 UTC

@MufflePuff Yeah, it depends really.

2018-10-17 01:26:36 UTC

People still don't want a machine to handle THEIR money when it comes to the books....sure, some basic debit and credit.....but when it comes time to "account" and see where its going and how, and rolling monthly....you will still need a person at this point and into the forseable future

2018-10-17 01:27:22 UTC

In 1989, I was making 28K when I started, and that was an okay wage

2018-10-17 01:27:27 UTC

at IBM

2018-10-17 01:27:32 UTC

@Deleted User That's interesting. So from what you've seen, the software can replace what % of what you do? Not accounting for human emotion but just actual ability to do it?

2018-10-17 01:27:53 UTC

@Deleted User I'd say 65-70k is an OK wage now but I WANT MOAR.

2018-10-17 01:28:27 UTC

It's coming, and in the future there won't be a need for as many accountants.......but there will still have to be someone who "counts the money" and balances the books

2018-10-17 01:29:06 UTC

Yeah, totally agree. Same with HR and other human facing/sensitive tasks.

2018-10-17 01:29:11 UTC

I'll be rtired at that point

2018-10-17 01:29:23 UTC

HR is a cancer on any company

2018-10-17 01:29:36 UTC

Yeah....true that Rhune

2018-10-17 01:29:37 UTC

Seems to me that accountants will be like many trades. Automation will take over, but the average business will not trust the robots completely for many years. They'll be phased in completely within like 100 years.

2018-10-17 01:30:11 UTC

Someone will still have to know HOW the computer programming WORKS for accounting, or fast changing state / fed regulations

2018-10-17 01:30:12 UTC

Youtube is down on my end

2018-10-17 01:30:18 UTC

anyone else?

2018-10-17 01:30:24 UTC

Same with IT, engineering. Maybe one person on-site to run the robots.

2018-10-17 01:30:34 UTC

not as many will be needed, and of course....the pay will go down

2018-10-17 01:30:46 UTC

A lot of fields will see a great deal of automation, but never full automation

2018-10-17 01:30:56 UTC

That's asinine and improper future thinking

2018-10-17 01:31:00 UTC

@niquill Yeah it's down.

2018-10-17 01:31:15 UTC

But not for a looong time. Depending on the business. Most wont be able to afford it. The robot solutions will take years to be cheap enough for all businesses to get it, like all tech is when it's launched.

2018-10-17 01:31:26 UTC

Anyway, I have a business, am a one man shop......and go by REFERRAL only

2018-10-17 01:31:27 UTC

@MufflePuff I disagree 100% on the engineering.

2018-10-17 01:31:47 UTC

Yes, actual technicians... it will be reduced workforce but engineering/science/mathematics/etc will never be replaced.

2018-10-17 01:32:02 UTC

I think engineering will definitely be hit hard, but not for a long time.

2018-10-17 01:32:03 UTC

You need people correcting the algos running the world at that point.

2018-10-17 01:32:32 UTC

The chief engineer will be human, the plebes will be a robot workforce.

2018-10-17 01:32:39 UTC

I don't think any one profession will be hit less than engineering honestly.

2018-10-17 01:32:44 UTC

Harder, better, faster, stronger.

2018-10-17 01:32:50 UTC

Name of my sex tape.

2018-10-17 01:32:51 UTC

well, AI could teach math in a HS.....math is used in accounting.......a lot of it........and computers do a lot of my work

2018-10-17 01:33:13 UTC

I think engineering will be last to get hit.

2018-10-17 01:33:21 UTC

Agreed.

2018-10-17 01:33:26 UTC

Construction too.
