I have not seen the tower shield in person yet, so I can't say however I have a feeling he would be qualified. As for whether he has drilled, he has drilled his marches, but we did not go over the shield drilling. I spent too much time focusing on the stuff I personally need to improve and as a result I forgot about the shield drills. However, I will see to it that him and I go over the drilling together as best as we can remotely to get him and myself up to speed
