Hello, I'm working with the various project teams assigned to aid in the organization of the event. I understand Vincent was assigned to help with staffing the shield teams. He was assigned because of his proximity to me and his usefulness in matters of logistics. He was assigned to a section leader role specifically because he would have access to all the equipment and experienced drilling required in Texas alongside another two section leaders. I stand by my decision.

I understand you have personal emnity with him. I do not know the details and I am not particularly interested. What I do need you to know is that nothing to do with personal interactions between you two or past histories of either of you is relevant in the planning process as it stands. Previous experience in shield teams is deemed less relevant than current experience with our new drills, and most all of the team appointments are by a somewhat strict process of reccommendation, not affiliation.

Regardless, all appointments are made for all shields already. You will not occupy any such role in the march, however you can and should still participate to the fullest extent of your ability with the other 100+ flagbearers who you will be marching with.

If you persist in your contestations, and refuse to work with certain individuals or attend actions based on protest about team appointments, then I would deem it as a purposeful and improper conflict with organizational functions or strategy. General Conduct Guide, Section VI, Point 3. "Seeking any change of practice within the organization by any means of exploitative or coercive influence is prohibited. Violation will result in suspension." This is not necessary, since you still have everything you require to participate gleefully and effectively. I hope this matter can be resolved peacefully at once.

Let me know any questions you may have.
