Iām about to sleep but I think Warner may be to caught up in his concern for National security than acknowledging the need to protect the citizens rights. We must encourage him and others like him to evaluate things in regards to citizens not potential foreign parties. I plan to write him about this and may format a template for others to use even outside Virginia and even to other Congressmen. We can freak out about Dems all we want but unless we as their constituents act they will get their way.
Same goes for Republicans
Agreed. Though the fact that Media Matters and most left-leaning outlets are the ones really pushing the censorship and election interference angle, I'm pessimistic about getting the Dems on board. I do think the Republicans may be awakening to the reality, but I'm not sure if they feel safe actually doing something.
Writing your congressperson (regardless of party) never hurt.

These things that 'never hurt' can waste your time.
People are never given any credit for their intuition of these things.
Putting your name on a template doesn't take much time at all. That's why people make letter writing templates. 1-2 concerned people lowers the required time for everyone else.
