Why does every battlefield get worse and worse
lack of bedrock ethic
we keep insisting our words mean what we mean, not what the other guy means, and accept no common authority to mediate.
It's a flaw in the Western set of languages, a temporary disadvantage accepted for later gain.
We're talking bird chatter. Pretty sounds to get what we want. Chirps that amount to let's bone.
Until our symbols mean more that phonics, until they receive philosophical charge, we remain lost.
It's helped us in terms of innovation, daring, creativity at the cost of discipline and social cohesion
and now, as a result of the accumulation of the latter we're coming apart at the seams.
Japanese seem largely immune to most of our problems, right? Examine Kanji. They're already doing what I suggest. Each glyph a qualitative variable, each word a calculation.
And that effects Vidya how 🤔
LOL whoops, my bad
I had interpreted battlefield more generally
the Balkanization, as Tim would put it.
>everyone picks medic
>no one revives teammates
Reee
fifty different people, each as unique as the rest; "I'll be the first medic assassin, the enemy will never see it coming!"
"unique"
I think "special" is a better word
Oh, you are indeed unique and special, just like everyone else.
So'm I
No I mean the bad special
No
Oh I'm brain damaged, friend, so I qualify for that one too
I allegedly don't but
I've cracked my head open like 5 times
owwwww
at least I had the mercy of the coma, dang
five times, watching people react to your visible brains?
I'm not even sure I *want* to wrap my mind around that
You're a strong person, and I salute you.
🤔
I never said visible brain
well, y'said open
Yeah
Open wounds
The only one I'd say was really bad was the one under my eye when I was like 6
when I envision something cracked open, it's not a laceration.
owwwww
I got one over my eye when I was some six months old
metal playpen corner. 80s were a lovely time.
