and my brain goes insane
its just how addiction works
A normal guy wont shoot up with no high
until his brain chemistry associates and changes for that drug
But is used to bind with the opiods so the guy wont stop breathing
then he will
slippery slope
Narcan is used to stop the overdose, not to help with withdrawal
Methadone is to help with withdrawal
maybe i am going in the wrong direction, all i am aying is addiction is difficult for those that have never tried anything to really understand
i dont know one drug from the next when it comes to perscription and whatnot
Im addicted to gambling
but i know a lot of people hooked on herion and used to be crack
So i know the issue in general
those are different people than you have ever met, i would bet
And i know war on drugs made everything worse
At least where i am at...
i dont know a lot about the exacts on the war on drugs, but i can claim to know a bit about the effects on those taking some of the worst drugs we have ever invented as a people
lost many friends to coke and herion
have to just cut them out after a while
but can only do so much
War on drugs made people into criminals, that is what it did
while the laws put people in jail
i never put that first line in front of anyone to snort, shoot whatever
there is still a bit of choice in there
after a while the addiction takes over and choice leaves their hands to a degree
but it started with a yes or no question at some point
But we closed the psych wards so it tossed a bunch of people out on the streets
did we?
are there not psychewards anymore?
In general us closed a lot of them
well there were a lot of bad ones at one point
maybe thats what got closed, but i dont know, i would like to think that had to be what happened
but i cant really make that claim
Summary of it
Can research more from this if you want to
Ghee, that is one of the talking points of the NRA, NPR
well in this case, they are probably right
i can get behind what is being said here, we do have a mental health issue
