the sjws already have pretty much everyone convinced they are some huge group
>Microsoft is going to back a group that wants to fuck over Microsoft
Ok
or at the very least
that they speak for a very large group
microsoft has mostly stayed away from all of this
But they dont want to "fuck over microsoft" they want to "help microsoft stop being racist"
which they will
So help them isolate themselves
they will stay totally out of it all
so they can just be the arms dealer selling to everyone
they are the nic cage lol
MS didn't have to do shit because the community fixed it
The system self corrected
huh?
you lost me there
The specific instance being referenced
The anti ICE non FOSS license
The MIT license change and the Linux CoC are two separate instances.
oh oh i gotcha
my bad
That shit is just going to spread into everything now. Anyone who resists is going to be a target.
i cant help but giggle at Linux getting some coc
>a version of fork-able niche software got a coc
>this shit is going to spread into everything
Actual alarmism. It already tried to spread into everything
And saw losses lol
i still think it will more about adding monitoring tools to the systems for easier remote spy capabilities
That's a bigger concern
thats why they want linus gone!!!
What are they going to monitor for?
unknown, but once they get webservers to update with the new "critical security patch" they will find it
thats how it will play out too
and every admin will have to install the update
for compliance or worry
and the last piece of the network is online
they already got ms, apple, and android
only thing they are missing are all those linux webservers
unix too, but that will get the same security update
yeah, i understand how it's a problem. but i think we need to be specific about what we're afraid of having monitored. because "im in ur interwebs stealin' ur datas" is not something that really frightens people anymore. it's been normalized. if we're specific about what we're afraid they're going to use the data for, it's more likely to provoke a response.
agreed, the softtargets will be the easy open web, websites
the hard targets will be using it to finish their darkweb sniffer
Like for example, I'm afraid of Dick Durbin writing bills outlawing online pseudoanonymity.
