this is so much fun
I'm liking this show more and more
The ending season one is pretty good
Lol that's one of the stupidest hashtags i've ever seen
@Abel Id taken the pol compass test and typically got left-libertarian but just a box or.two away from the center. Took it last month and its like my position was just flipped. lib-right and same.magnitude
makes me wonder if it was me or maybe they change values for qs, b/c I didnt think I changed enough for a flip xD
I'm centre left, a millimetre right of Tim
But i'm pretty sure they changed a lot in the test
A friend of mine, who got four squares to the left of centre last october, did the test yesterday, and now he's two squares right of centre, with all the same answers
I am an offensive Moderate, I am right between the right and left cheeps spewing {stuff} at people!
I get that feeling, because I really dont think my views have changed. Granted it was a very small switch. instead of lib-left of center im lib-rt. now, but the fact im now on the right side really piqued my curiosity
I guess values like freedom of speech would be to the right now
if theyre switching values, thats pretty worrying. We're seeing the overton window shift in real time :(
Classical Liberalism is now going farther to the right
I can't make it through the tests, I just know I'm like, left but not a regressive
and what used to be social liberal, is now social democrats
Bernie sanders types
Maybe Tim's a fucking 1/2huwhite neutral now
yeah, the choices foe those pol tests always irk me
one thing that bothered me was they assume.if youre against nsa sex its.due to religious reasons
or i'll be fine with X in a certain situation, but prefer Y in a diff one
Also being against it doesn't mean you'd legislate against it or dictate it to others
+1
I think I would prefer the tests if they gave you like, the communist answer, the social democrat / nordic capitalist answer, the paleocon answer, and classical liberal / libertarian answer, instead of the agree/disagree gradient
I feel like agree/disagree just makes me pick an emotional response
And it requires you to deal in absolutes. Policy is full of grey
(and only Sith deal in absolutes)
hot damn, that is the worst star wars line, in my opinion
"only Sith deal in absolutes"
_only sith_
Its foreshadowing that hell be a Sith /s
"Its like poetry. It rhymes"
"Seein g the world as us versus them, no matter how noble the intentions, is a path that only leads to comprimise, and the dark side of the force."
But aren't those who refuse to deal in absolutes dealing in the absolute of refusing to deal in absolutes?
Maybe the movie would have been too long if they wrote it that wya
So I am reading the short comedy school Devilman spin-off parody "Sirene-Chan" by Go Nagai &...
