not going to college these days isn't really a punishment, it's often a wise move. most college educated people I know are morons with tons of debt

street smarts are far more helpful in the long run
book smart is only so much of a contribution.
I just wish college was actually worth the time people spent on it.
They spend years doing things and learning then find out they can't get a job in that area.
I'd go straight into the work force. The networking was indespensable though.

The issue, is realizing that 95%+ of the knowledge you gain have been around for decades and publicly available and that it cost you six figures to get that.

Networking can make or break your chances I'd say sometimes.
i mean, my letters of recommendation beaically got me into a top 10 history program though i don't have a history background
without his word I wouldn't have gotten hired.
