they stay under the radar lol
Portugal is nice, yeah.
Not completely pussified, some nice ladies.
Though their inferiority complex with Brazil is exhausting.
xorgy have you been there?
That was a sore spot for many of the Portuguese people I met.
Portugal is a bit woke
i went to lisbon a few years ago
(granted, not in Portugal, but in Toronto and Hamilton in Ontario in Canada)
lisbon is beautfiul.
and the trams are hilarious
indeed!
Some of them are ~10cm from running over children
Every day.
fear is their motivator
What is Portugal's stance on the "refugees"?
they live their lives 10cm from tram death a day
no idea
Portugal isn't the wokest, nor the Wokest.
So probably not going the genocide route (which is good), nor the total exclusion route (which could be seen as bad, sorta)
how long till spain and italy start firing mortars are the illegals on boats
and they're not really in the right place to be a major destination, geographically.
Did Spain start turning them away?
I suspect Spain's administrative class will hold it off until it's too late to avoid brewing genocidal intent.
They're fixin' to have that happen, <conspiracy-theory>it might be the EU's plan to get the countries to unify around a cause, some time in the near future, so they'll sign away their sovereignty even further, US PATRIOT Act style.</conspiracy-theory>
We'll know if they're trying because they need an army. Once they actually form one there should be no doubt that's what they're going to do.
Thats kinda what ive been thinking was the masterplan
I mean, it is the only plausible outcome, and the only unifying thread, of EU policy.
i see th EU in general tighten up their borders come 2019
Most of the policy seems boneheaded unless you look at it from the perspective of a master plan to tyrannize Europe and former non-Europe from a steel and glass throne between Germany, France, and Belgium.
yep
problem, reaction, solution
I mean, if you guys need help with a revolution if the EU does pull something, you know we might try to help. The U.S. knows a thing or two about revolutions, only issue is if we get a executive in power who will push to aid you all.
Juncker already speaks like he's King, it's kinda hilarious.
Maybe this time the insufferable Germans will learn their lesson, but who knows, it could turn out in their favour: then we're _really_ fucked.
guys do you guys feel like things in general are getting better or worse in your part of the world?
i have this kinda shit to deal with, daily
Is Juncker the one who praised Marx?
