Well in medieval times you had the three estates of peasantry (labor), nobility, and church. Through banking and shareholding we developed a fourth estate, the middle class, people born into the labor class who had owned part of a franchise.

I moved back in with family recently for practical reasons, and if I moved away I could only really justify living with flatmates or at least housemates.

I make maybe a 70th percentile income for the U.S.

idk living with family when you want to be more independent can be frustrating

I _could_ live on my own, but I would be setting myself backward in terms of finances.

I'm young enough that it's not horrible not being able to date as easily.

ultimately what i need is a better job

work on that then, being at the family home will help you not fall through the cracks while trying to do that.
